I dunno, it was kinda sad how Con came to the conclusion that he didn't need love after years of being in a one-sided relationship that was only happening because of his (dad's) money.
@@deathbastardable Yeah, "he basically purchased a person and is trying to keep her in a castle" as Kieran Culkin said in some interview, not really winning at life. But he's probably best off of the bunch.
This is what I kept asking from early on... Why do they even want this? Go take your millions and do whatever you want with your life. Start your own company... so many people don't have nearly the means to do something like that. (Hell of a show, though.)
I'm amazed at how many people seem to miss that none of Logan's children are "worse" than the other. They are all shades of the man's worst characteristics. The tragedy isn't that none of them become CEO. The tragedy is in the swimming and the kitchen, where we see that they could have truly been a family that loved and supported one another except for one problem: They're Logan Roy's kids.
@@billyobfas6962 Shiv is REALLY spiteful and unlikable with the faces...it's like she is stabbing Kendall with a knife and twisting it so he will really bleed out, but Cotygeek is right, they are all terrible in different ways. The things Rome says to people...the way he treated that kid season 1? Who abuses and publicly humiliates kids for kicks? Romulus. His father called him a sicko...he is...and his dad made him that way.
Exactly! Imagine the writers, writing this amazing piece of work so we can all reflect on greed, trauma, capitalism, etc so people end up not getting the point of the show and being Logan’s fans 😅
@@syscopio3452 The show already tells us this. Find a new line 😂 And besides, what Tom meant by that was that she was incapable of showing care (not at all her fault, at least... not entirely), not that she didn't love at all. She "loves" it all, that's why her name means God's Grace- her pride destroyed her, in the end. As a besides, it's stupid to mock and blame characters that aren't real- what does this do that is GOOD? Nothing.

(I copy and pasted this, just curious if somebody has a take on this)
man, that smile after Shiv says "I just don't think you'd be good at it"... Logan raised his kids to do only one thing and that thing is compete and be terrible towards each other
Just the fact that he promised the company leadership role to all three of them at different points in their lives--he wanted them to be at one another's throats. If he had just been clear in his will that he wanted it to go from eldest to youngest, or that he wanted all three to run it together and vote on things when they disagreed, or that he wanted the company sold immediately and for each of them to profit equally, it would have saved them all some grief. But nooo...
This is why the only time Logan respected Kendall was when he grew a pair and stood on the lawsuit. None of them deserved it, they were are silver spoon fed fractions of what Logan raised. Logan said Tom was beneath Shiv, ironically he respected tom 10 times more than any of his kids because of his dedication and work ethic along with his willingness to lay on the sword for the company.
i LOVE that they kept the waiter storyline from the start to the literal end, i hate when something big happens in a show and then it’s forgotten abt next season
@@ledot2037that’s how the world works though.. so an employee lost a finger or two (maybe a hand?) you pay the guy and that’s it. It’s not a company ending or news worthy thing. I just realised that Shiv says 'you can't be CEO because you killed someone', which is a direct contradiction of Logan's assertion that 'you have to be a killer'. No matter what Kendall does - he can never win
He accidentally killed someone and has felt guilty about it for four seasons. He made a mistake because of his drug addiction it he tried saving the boy multiple times. He cares about other people but he know that he should have things too and think about himself. His father told him for years that it was his birthright to have the company
Also, Shiv is a scorpion. She will always betray and backstab. That's what scorpions do. It's her nature. They didn't introduce the scorpion gift for no reason.
Exactly! Never mind it's false logan roy saying to him on the boat "your not a killer" because off fact that kendal went after not only a KILLER but his very own father. Takes brass balls but fact he went after killer makes him infact a killer.
Kendall losing it with his hands just GRIPPING onto Roman’s face like that is one of the most realistic portrayals of rage i’ve seen on television. He has purely lost it right there, no thoughts, just rage
His siblings destroyed his only dream right as he was about to finally realize it. His entire world was shattered in that moment, and I can’t really blame him with the things they were saying. Such a tragic character
@Jasmine Marie Murray nah tbh I’m on Kendall’s side, shiv played this card at the last moment and no one was going to convince her otherwise, then Roman does the 2 v 1 stating his kids are randos. Even if he just said it, in the heat of me losing my dream, my sister making ridiculous statements at the hour of the vote, then he mentions my kids aren’t even mine? Nah I’d lose it and most humans would too irrespective to if it makes sense to or not. Even Logan I believe would be massively frustrated.
@@sondushabib9677 Assuming Sophie is adopted. As for Iverson, it wasn't clear before if he was also adopted but based on Roman's words, sounds like IVF with a donor.
@@cainandabel7059 it was perfectly in character... He already said something similar in an earlier episode. The one after he nearly drowned in the pool, when he was getting an intervention from the 3 of them. It is exactly what Kendall thinks of himself.
He is the eldest out of the three of them who are full siblings while Connor is their half sibling. He was always supposed to take over. Logan told him several times it would be his
The fact Shiv tried to expose him for killed someone but Kendall claimed he made it up is just the worst. What's more embarrasing is, he's going back to Board Meeting room and want to adjourn the meeting and pretend nothing happened! Even though the people saw how he's yelling at his siblings, squisshing Roman's skull and even trying to attack Shiv who's pregnant. Kendall mostly can't read his environment because he is blinded by his ego and arrogance.
Ken never should have admitted it to anyone else. That was weak from him. Shiv didn't even care about it until she saw an opportunity to use it against him. Also, Shiv leaned on that woman who was going to testify against her family's company. She couldn't care less about that woman and what she witnessed or survived. This whole family is gross. But that's what you find at the top. So what does that say about all of us? What do we really value in this world?
If Succession is a tragic farce, then Kendall is the most pathetic character in the series. At times he comes agonizingly close to self-awareness, but never manages it.
@@saturdaysequalsyouth We also see how The Roys are lacking of morality and sympathy because they are too narcisstic and oblivious. Like when Roman wanted to share his traumatic experience from being a hostage in Turkey at Season 2, Kendall and Shiv mocked him instead. When Connor reminded everyone that he is the eldest son, the others three don't give a shit about him. Even when Kendall told the truth of him killing a waiter while crying, Shiv and Roman are confused of how they are supposed to react. Connor even wanted to promote his presidential campaign in Mo's funeral but Willa changed his eulogy and then he delivered the weirdest and awkward eulogy that we ever heard (also give us the clue to Willa's bad writing)
When Kendall says, "That didn't happen," the bottom drops out of everything. His relationship with his siblings, his last shred of dignity, and any chance of him stepping into his father's shoes. Incredible moment.
That was one of the things that he truly opened up to his siblings about. To see him take it all back just ruined their deeper connection and left them all disconnected in the end
@@diegoalvarez64 Kendall opening up about killing the kid led to them uniting together against Logan, so saying it was a move to manipulate them ruined everything they did together
I loved Connor's ending - it was the most perfect ending he could have possibly had, doing the most mundane BS ever but with the most overcomplicated system he could have come up with
@@jonathanthomas9677 does Willa truly love him though? Willa seemed VERY keen on having a long distance relationship away from Connnor and looked disappointed when Shiv told her that Mencken might not win the election. So the plans of Connor moving away to Slovenia or wherever would not come to fruition.
What's really interesting about Roman in this scene is at 4:16, when Kendall is attacking him, he doesn't make any attempt to defend himself. Roman keeps his arms at his side while Kendall is tearing at his face, but as soon as Kendall shoves Shiv, Roman springs into action to protect her. This is learned helplessness, where an abused child doesn't defend himself because he feels powerless against his abuser (first his father, now his older brother), but finds strength to protect someone else that they perceive is more vulnerable. Very subtle and well done, in keeping with what we know about this toxic family.
It really reminds of the scene in season 2 episode 6 when Logan hits Roman, Kendall immediatly jumps in Romans defence. This time however he is the one attacking one of his siblings, and Roman the one defending her.
Kendall didn't f*cking "abuse" Roman just because they physically fought lmao, both Roman and Shiv were being selfish cunts who destroyed something that could have been decent. They're all self-destructive and selfish, but Kendall was genuinely attempting to solve the situation whereas Shiv and Roman got too caught up in their own feelings of inferiority I may be overanalyzing it, but you definitely are
shiv releases kendall from the cycle while also condemning him to a life of no purpose, meanwhile she’s trapped with tom. she is not a hero, and it’s not a happy ending for her, or anyone. very poetic and astounding writing. everyone got what they deserved
he was asking to be slapped. And it feels true to Roman because this pattern of punishment was something that Logan always did to him, and Kendall basically IS Logan in this scene
@@lucaspsm125 kendall always being the one to defend his brother or children from his dad but attacking roman (not that he didn’t deserve it) and violently grabbing his pregnant sister to stop her from taking the thing he wants is PERFECT. really it all boils down to his desire to feel powerful and with the vacuum logan left, you see him go from being the one to defend his family from logan’s violence to actually hurting roman (more than just the brotherly bitch fights they’ve had before 🥴) and trying to hurt shiv. which definitely threw me off guard but makes a lot of sense. the one thing he had going for him in terms of actually protecting or taking for of his siblings/kids was his defensiveness against logan’s occasional physical violence. and seeing him simultaneously throw a fit that cost him shivs vote (which could’ve easily been swayed) while stooping to hurting roman more than we ever saw logan do and trying to hurt his pregnant sister is a perfect ending for his chracter. he like logan in all the wrong ways. just as privileged and selfish without any of the skill logan had in maintaining power in business or family. he’s exactly like logan in none of the ways that he wants to be but ultimately proves him right. kendall wasn’t good enough to be ceo. too emotional and failed at negotiating back his life-long dream.
I cannot stop rewatching this scene. The execution from the camerawork, writing, sound, editing and acting is flawless. Four seasons building to this moment, it’s like a great sense of catharsis I get
@@billyobfas6962 exactly, and I suppose that is what it’s always been about. In the beginning, Kendall was the heir apparent but the second Roman and Shiv (at some point) get the chance at it too and with Logan’s approval thinking they stand a chance, it revolves into children fighting over who gets to play with the toy
@@billyobfas6962 This finale is nothing about the siblings bringing each other down. It's literally about how they are useless and them acting important and "running stuff" is just smoke and mirrors
The way she laughs and said "You're not!" to him yelling he's the eldest boy. That was so true to a real life argument. Sarah Snook needs an Emmy (so does Kieran).
“I’M THE ELDEST BOY” wow. That scene showed a lot of emotion, not only did it show Kendall’s narcissistic personality and disregard for the actual eldest brother Connor; it also showed his desperation to finally become CEO.
When i heard that, I was legit shocked. He completely lost it, he could've said anything to convince that he's the right person for the job but went to a fatal direction because of his greed and stupid ego by discrediting the real actual eldest son who has been interested in politics from a very young age
@@Bjork4s Plus, it just sounded so immature. Them acting like children when they're just fooling around in the kitchen is one thing. But Kendall truly being a petulant, entitled child inside while trying to run the company doesn't work.
He shouldn't have gone to chase Shiv's vote, he should have stayed in the room wait for Shiv to make her own decision, it is most likely that Ken staying in the room would have shown some dignity and self respect and that could have steered Shiv in that last moment to vote NO. But no the 2 brothers had to go down to chase her un push her, of course she was gonna vote against what the brothers (especially Ken) wanted.
@Jesus Yeah I totally agree. When I was watching it, I was focusing more on how Ken was acting than what he was saying. @@arizansbergerstein1860 Yes, because he knew Kendall lied and the fact that he was willing to take that back just to secure his seat as CEO put Roman off
I think Roman was put-off before Kendall's denial of the auto accident. His behavior during the board meeting was telltale sign to me. Also, I thought that he and Shiv's anointing of Kendall as CEO was grudgingly given by the both of them. I thought that either one of then could have flipped, but Shiv had more at stake.@@feyrol42
@@feyrol42I actually think that Roman had misgivings during the board vote. His hesitation allowed Shiv to leave the room without casting her vote. Kendall's "false memory" of his auto accident allowed Roman to completely change his mind about giving Kendall the CEO position, but at this point in the story, he had already voted NO to the deal. There were two people to the right of Shiv or the left of Frank that had not cast their votes when Shiv left the board room. She may have had general idea how those two people had planned to vote.
I think is hilarious that Roman also realized Kendall lost it and sided with Shiv in the end. His final words of them being bullshit were so true, Roman was never a serious person and he knew that but he also only wanted to be on top because of his father, him coming to terms that he can live free and without the pretense of it while also realizing putting Kendall on top would just make him go through "Logan Roy" again probably made everything more clear for him, he left the series drinking a martini and what it seemed like a shitton of emotions in one second, but mainly one of relief Kendall on the other hand is probably the worse case in the end, him being prepared since he was 7 to take the company and basically making it all of his life and failing is the biggest tragedy in the show, he wasnt bargaining and begging for power and money, he was ultimately begging for finally having a reason to exist, it actually changes the whole show and it made so much sense why he could never just do other stuff like Roman, Shiv and Connor did with theirs, even after every public stunt and drama he caused, he always only wanted one thing, to be the CEO Logan literally ruined his favorite and most beloved son by giving him a life mission that now he will never be able to achieve, he groomed Kendall into being a king and now theres no kingdom anymore, he was left with only the riches hes always had so in the end he truly was left with nothing to live for
great analysis but to me that sounds like that best thing in the world. self-inflicted pain from someone too stupid to see they’re already winning 🥴. perfect ending
I think Roman had doubts from the start, just like Shiv, but in a parallel to season one he was too afraid to go against Kendall, just like how he was afraid to go against Logan. He only started talking back to Kendall when he realized Shiv was firmly on his side
i hope kendall comes to terms w it in the future tho and realize he was becoming his own dad and this saved him. he was already hurting his siblings physically, and was already an absent fatehr having doubts himself if he is a good dad. Ken cant see it rn, but turning CEO would destroy him and if his words are true, that he does everything for his kids, then they should be his reason to live. now he has even more riches to ensure they have their entire life sorted out and have time to spend w them.
Kendall saying “which?” Is such a beautifully dark comedic line. You don’t feel like you can laugh given the context, but that’s just the essence of the show, isn’t it?🤣
It was so sad to see them fighting like this, verbally and physically, after the way they had been this episode. Them joking around during the midnight swim, mucking around and being such children in the kitchen, and comforting eachother when watching the videos of Logan. And then to this where there’s so much anger and jealousy and hatred. I was so happy seeing them work together for a common goal and then it all blew up 😢
Two sides of having siblings, and they showed minutes from each other. It's playful, nostalgic, and cute when it's having a "meal fit for a king" ... ...But also many scars of being bullied or teased and physically abused for the sake of disdain or jealousy.
@@Okayand33 That's why I personally think it's a good thing they all finally got out of that boardroom tbh. Because that was basically the spirit of their dad / the core of the whole toxic dynamic between them. Logan continuously pitching them against each other so he could keep his crown,

The kitchen scene showing that deep down, they're still kids who just wants to hang out together and have fun. The Board Room is their final wake up call because they don't realize there are a lot of adults watching them fighting like kids in different room. They don't have a reasonable adult to guide them through entire life, they will forever lost to be the kids who trapped in adult's body. The old guards are just their dad's trustworthy people not their parental figure and they mostly always disrespecting them.
The number one boy almost made it. Almost. Did shiv save him or kill him? We wouldn’t ever know. All we know is- he made his whole life about the top job. It was promised to him when he was 7. Except the company he has nothing. No kids, no wife, no dad, no friends, no partner, - just Colin. A perfect completion of the tragic arc of Kendall Roy. I think Shiv did what she did because while Tom's betrayal's is hurtful for her, is not nearly as much as Kendall becoming Logan's successor over her. These three were competing all their lives for this, to be seen as worthy of Logan's legacy, which is the only way he could ever respect them, and maybe show some love. Let's be real, do you really think she gives a shit about the dead waiter? These three love each other, but they were raised to compete against each other, and they can't stand to see each other win. As much as some of us might hate Shiv for doing this, I can't say I don't see Kendall doing the same if the roles were reversed. Roman's the only who's finally starting to break free.

She knew he couldn't be CEO, and when he ask her she threw the first random idea she had, had he sit down and spoke to them about that she would have had more confidence, or perhaps trow more reasons why he should not be CEO so he can defend himself con convince her, some people need to be convinced and reinforced ... it's actually the first thing you learn in customer service, if someone is upset let them vent, let them know you understand, give them assurance and when finishing the interaction reinforce or reiterate the reasons why it was positive aka what you did for them
@@laum5371 Exactly. SHE doesn’t care about the waiter either, just throwing out the first thing that came to mind (that it was a valid concern is strictly coincidental with these people).
Roman bringing up the bloodline was the final straw. He had been saving that up for a long time and finally hit Ken where it hurts when he played the eldest boy card. What a great ending to a chaotic show
They're all doomed to lose anyways. Shiv becoming like her mother, Roman being lost , and Kendall going deeper in rock bottom because of his decision to throw away the last bit of humanity he has left to get a chance. Best ending imo.
Kendall trying to convince them that he didn’t actually kill that waiter is what made Roman switch. Seeing that Kendall would literally say anything or lie about killing someone to get the job.
That haunting guitar that pierces the argument when Ken attacks Roman made me absolutely sick. It’s like the primal nature of the rivalry between these siblings just erupted into real bloodlust. Terrifying.
I couldn’t believe what I was watching. The moment that started play, I actually started to feel unwell. Watching Ken take it out in Roman because he knows he’s fucked it was just incredible. For an instant I thought he might’ve tried to kill him.
In the Frog and Scorpion story, the scorpion asks a frog to carry him over a river. The frog is afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, both would sink, and the scorpion would drown. The frog then agrees, but midway across the river, the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When the frog asks why, the scorpion says that it is his nature. Tom was right about Shiv. She is a scorpion; even though she will also lose the business she still betrays Kendal. Because losing the company is worse than losing the position to Kendal. But, Shiv was also right when she called Tom a snake.
I saw the moment Shiv knew she couldn’t vote for Kendall. It was when Kendall put his feet up on the desk and bro-insulted Stewie. It was everything she hates. The privilege, his smugness, his overbearing insecurity. She knew right then she would have to vote against him. And Roman really only gave him half-approval. His “Nnnoope” was nearly childish, forced out. And his final assessment of Kendall and all of them, while pithy, was also spot on. They really are “bs.” What do they make? Roller coasters and racism, as Roman said back in Season 1. A grand finale and perfect summation episode of all of the show. Thank you to all involved. You made appointment television a great thing again
You mean when he flirted with Stewie? She changed her mind AT THE VERY LAST MOMENT because she couldn't stand seeing Kendall win. She literally admits it "I can't stomach you." They're jealous children and winning CEO means winning Dad's love. Except Shiv behaved just like Logan here -- promising Kendall the role before ripping it away. She's insane for how it went down, not for resenting Kendall. Her last minute choice was selfishly motivated. Shiv apologists need to stfu.
Something I took away from this scene is when Ken denies killing the waiter he’s admitting he’s not a killer and as Logan said “you have to be a killer”. Not sure if that was intentional
it's that dichotomy between being a real killer but not a business killer that Logan also talked about. In this moment he becomes a true cold blooded killer by denying he's a real one
It’s more so that he is weak. He just denied it to try to convince Shiv to vote for him. At that point it’s like “well, Ken will say and/or do anything to become CEO.”
The thing is, Logan's "you have to be a killer" isn't absolute truth. It's not the "He'll never change" forshadowing of Better Call Saul. Logan's quote is his philosophy, his life experience, but's not applicable to everyone. Kendall has prove himself near the end that he can play killer if he really want to, but unlike Logan who has nearly perfect track record, he has plenty vulnerabilities that people can exploit, and his decision-making is much too impaired by his narcissism and impatience. If he wants to follow Logan advise to "be a killer", he has always have been a killer, which he isn't. He had a bit of time when he was finding his own way, trying to find and make his own advantages shine (they landed the deal with PGN from his final call), but then Logan's draft will was discovered and once again he go back to Logan's failing advise.
The entire series between these 3 siblings culminates in them brawling and arguing like 9 year olds over the biggest decision of their lives. So fitting
That's what I'm saying even in death he still is ruling shit like TF best series I have watched in a very long time!!! Next too Resident Alien and Manifest
Even when Logan is dead, somehow I can still feel his presence. It felt like he's keeping an eye on the sibling to prove his point. His shadow is insanely big that you can still feel him even when he's dead
I told the person I was watching it with - I don’t know if I’d choose my brother or my husband in that situation either. The second she found out it was Tom, it was a real Sophie’s choice for her. I think I’d go with Tom, too, but it’s painful to watch
@@alicetoyou448 Good point. I mean, although it's kind of obvious, I hadn't really thought of her decision like that, and I think it explains why she's conflicted more than a lot of takes here. I don't think she would have hesitated if Tom wasn't part of the equation.
@@19thDecadePig Exactly! She was fully behind Ken when it was them versus just a random CEO. The waiter thing was a throwaway excuse as a smokescreen because we all know she can’t admit to her real feelings for Tom and her child. I’m a dark way, it’s a declaration of love in the only language Shiv can speak (voting for him in a board meeting lol), which we know Tom understands with the last scene between them.
lol that has nothing to do with her choice. she could just tell from the way kendall was acting that once she voted for him she would never be seen as an equal by him at any point, ever. he would always use his position to powertrip over her, and she wasn't okay with that.
@@bigbeautifulape5283She could also tell, or rather was reminded, that he was stupid and pathetic, and always would be. Unserious. Terrible person she is, she was glad to have any reason, and he was more than happy to oblige, just as he was with their dad. Not that she was serious, but probably more than Ken?
Also, if Kendall becomes the CEO and Roman become Co-CEO, they both will ignore and leave Shiv behind again. They mostly are ganging up their sister and treat her as The Token Girl. Shiv is tired of this treatment so she finally has enough. Also, the moment when Ken sit in Logan's chair, put his feet in his desk and announcing Stewie out of nowhere as his Chairman without telling his siblings is the moment when he's done. He's also pushing Roman's stitch to bleed and Roman realized he can't depend on his big bro anymore. In the end of the day, Kendall exposed himself as childish adult man who can't take criticism, very violent and has anger issue. Also, some of them know he's a drug addict, so in their POV, they see him either he's on possession of drugs or in his manic episode.
2:06 Kendall saying WHICH!? when Shiv says about the murder...then saying he is "totally clean" and then TOTALLY losing it... in those glass windows with the whole board seeing....man, he was so doomed already.
This ep was a masterpiece Kendall putting his trust in his siblings and yet they couldnt stomach seeing him at the top…..wanted kendal to win but it is what it is
@@Emy-fv5ny eh thats a a little bit of a misread. tom being the new ceo factors in but ultimately she did it because she finally has an ounce of power over her brothers and took advantage of it. she felt like she was losing either way and she was clearly on the fence. but her and kendall’s fight is perfect because he did a bad job at convincing her when she was obviously still in the fence and by the end, it seemed like she was only still in the room listening to him to keep kicking him. she lost for ceo either way, but she knew it wasn’t fair for him to win so did the most logan thing she could’ve in the situation and fucked them both over. she’s not an idiot, she understood she could have more power by voting yes and keeping family control but she would rather lose in her own way and not just hand kendall something she wants and doesn’t think he deserves. especially cause he’s already proven that he’ll fuck her over, lie to her, betray her. best decision she could’ve made in the end. gaining some power over her brothers while still losing in her own way
Not Matthew, I’m afraid. But if Brian, Jeremy and Kieran will all aubmit for the main lead category, then Matthew can definitely win the supporting male lead. Sarah will win. She so deserves it.
@@idontcare2851 just because she's a "nasty woman" in your eyes doesn't mean she can't get an Emmy nom. Just because Joker got nominated for best picture doesn't mean people support Joker killing 7 (or so) people and inspiring hundreds to do thousands
'i am a cog only built to fit one machine' is crazzyyy, Kendall's only purpose is to be the CEO of the company and is nothing if he doesn't. it's crazy how he still wants to prove his father wrong despite him being dead
As soon as Shiv found out that Tom would be chosen as the CEO , Kendall was doomed. She would rather stay in an unhappy marriage but close to the person in power . Greed is a powerfull driver.
This scene is amazing and heartbreaking at the same time and what I love about it is that how Roman defended Shiv. Logan was violent towards him his whole life and Kendall was there to defend him and now that Logan is gone and Kendall was turning into Logan and violent towards him and their sister, Roman defended her verbally and physically, something he would never have done against his father.I may be reading too much into it, I just loved how protective he was at that moment.
So correct, Kendall shoved Shiv (whilst Roman made some terrible comments, he was already wobbly, then Kencall crushed his head wound whilst kissing him - reinforcing Logans abuse). Once he saw Kendall push Shiv (whilst she's pregnant) he finally was able to stand up & the "we're all bullshit" line solidified his acceptance that they needed freedom from the company & their dad
@Kitty right?!! He was already siding with Shiv but the moment Kendall pushed her, he made up his mind, he knew even though Kendall's life purpose was to be the successor, he wasn't fit to be it. Kinda sad, I love the new gen Roys.
@@jlopink is a joke right?? Shiv and Roman allways been shitty towards Ken, never sided with him, NEVER in the entire show, in the first season, when he was about to overthrow his father Roman switched sides, fantastic, then we have Shiv… good god save us from a sister or wife like her, Kendall never had help or support, both of them support whoever but Ken, which is sad, I would had lost it time ago..
@@kittycattt93Shiv was being petty for no logical reason...and she also knew if she won the sibling rivalry, her husband will end up being the CEO. It was a win-win.
@@donotreplydumbpeople3866 Exactly. Kendall was maybe too much fanatic about the job, but that doesn't make him a worse CEO than Lucas. He would really care about the company. She just preferred to destroy, obliterate relationship with his brother, for stupid reasons. And it's not the power - Tom was supposed to be just a puppet. Not for money, because she really was rich. It was just because she couldn't stand his brother be a CEO. I really hate what she did.
I'll never grow tired of revisiting this scene. At the time of writing this comment, it's only been a month and a bit since the finale, but damn if I don't miss this show. Pure excellence.
