I love that the game finds ways to do this in character. If I recall, when you piss off Cuno two times, he says something like "THAT'S IT, PIG- ONE MORE WORD AND YOU MISS OUT ON ALL THAT CUNO-Y GOODNESS". If you continue that dialogue tree and piss him off a third time, you get locked out of dialogue with him and miss out.
The clothes make the man. And if I change clothes, the man dies, and a new man is made in his place. I can't do that, Kim. I fear death. Almost as much as I pursue it.
Convinced me of eventually doing another playthrou eventually, intelect based skills never would have guessed that, I just happened to have Esprit de Corps buffs when that happened, so many things I'm probably missing.
true although that's only in situations like this, as far as I know he always calls you officer and always calls you detective for some bits of his dialogue such as when he says goodnight to you
The alternative route is amazing too: YOU - "I'm not taking 'style' tips from someone who dresses like a washed-up TipTop racer." KIM KITSURAGI - "This 'washed-up TipTop racer' knows how to sew a lapel and center a back vent." The lieutenant raises one eyebrow at you. COMPOSURE - That's why his clothes fit so well... KIM KITSURAGI - "So if you want to wake up next to anyone other than *Commodore Red*, you might do well to take notes." KIM KITSURAGI - "Anyway, we should probably get back to the case. Let's go."
Kim does have a great response to that though 🤭 But yeah I don't have the heart to be mean to Kim. I can't even do it out of curiosity on repeat playthroughs. He's too good 🤣
@@peppermillers8361 ever since the beginning of the game describing the horrid smell of your hostel room, I thought about that... Also the way you pick up dirty used clothes from random places and wear those too lol
If you completed the game, Kim has commented on your style. I remember him appreciating me actually dressing like a cop for once. I was wearing the commander's jacket you get out of your car at the time, plus the rainjacket from the harbor before that.
Before this he’s like "…can we step aside for a moment? There’s something I wanted to discuss." and I got super worried because I thought it was going to be very serious, I actually walked away to a secluded area, only for him to be like "…your clothes are shit.". Like man, I thought this was going to be a heartfelt conversation! :D

Thank you for the video, very interesting. (It would be interesting to see compilation of all reactions to different outfits. I'm not sure if you accepting suggestions though. You absolutely don't have to)
Thank you for the suggestion! I haven't had the time and brainpower to make these videos lately but I'll add it to my list of videos to make for when I'm able to get back into it.
