Saw the news on Reddit. I’ve been hoping for this day, I don’t really interact with epic games store which is why I didn’t buy Kingdom hearts. I did contemplate buying the games many times, glad I waited.

I've always wanted to play Kingdom Hearts hoping it would come to Switch or PC. I was disappointed that the KH games on Switch were cloud ports as my hopes of finally playing these games were crushed but not anymore. I am so happy they are coming to PC, finally, I can experience these games at last.

Hey that's pretty neat! I already got the Epic versions, so this doesn't mean too much to me, but it's great to see that Linux and Steam Deck users will finally be able to experience these amazing games! :)

"Entire series" -cries in Melody of Memory

it's not the entire series, Melody of Memory isn't part of it, it seems and if you want to go even further there's also the mobile games like UnionX (I think it's called) but those aren't really available on anything but mobile....least for now but since they're also canon to the series...like every Kingdom Hearts game is I would like to see it like remade or something for the console audience ...or I guess cutscenes like, like they did for Re:Coded and 358/2 Days which I would like to see get actual remakes, as Days and Re:coded are the only Kingdom Hearts Games besides the mobile once I've not played

People keep forgetting that the current workaround for getting these games to work on the steam deck involves skipping cutscenes. It's still not clear whether this issue will be resolved with a native steam version, but I'm really hoping it is.

About GODDAMN TIME. Been waiting over a decade to play these games for the first time, and they were stuck on Epic Shite for the last THREE YEARS

god damnit... i bought it on the epic store last year for like fucking $70 cad out of desperation 😂😂 the fact that a multiple decade old game was held hostage from fans on steam because competition... and people like me are going to buy it AGAIN for like the 4th time is beyond me. They don't deserve it. I just wanted this game in my steam which is the only thing I used year after year. I dont wanna pull out my old ps4.. I dont wanna download a whole other stupid program just to play one game.

I can finally the play uncensored mods of the original kingdom hearts 2 final mix and the lost uncensored original elements with it. And kingdom hearts 3 and every other mods on the list including new moves and every keyblade that went missing on the mods and the collusum. And the fan favorite multiplayer mods too.

I only have Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue on PS4, older Kingdom Hearts are on the Nintendo Switch, but I've seen those dosen't looks good so it's great Kingdom Hearts are coming finally to Steam on PC! 🎉😮😊❤

I've heard Kingdom Hearts on EPIC is always online and can't be played offline. The same thing happened to Final Fantasy VII Remake requiring an always online connection. When Final Fantasy VII Remake came to Steam the online requirement was removed. I'm sure there won't be an online requirement to play Kingdom Hearts on Steam either. I'm sure the ability to be played offline is a big plus with Kingdom Hearts on PC.

Other day, I saw a thread about how people don’t even know that KH has a PC port because it hasn’t been on Steam for years. The following reply was “If it ain’t on Steam, it’s just a dream.” Or some kind of clever rhyme other than the one I just came up with. I hope upcoming Final Fantasy PC ports launch or Steam before or simultaneously as Epic 🤮. That’s what led me to the thread in the first place.

Not actually the "entire" KH franchise since it's excluding Melody of Memories. But hopefully, that comes shortly afterwards.
