My wife called and said that this just started happening to our faucet today. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but I told her that it was probably the sprayer. Now I'm very very confident that it is! I'll update when I get home. Thanks, Steve!
Thanks brother! My sink has been doing the same thing for months and kept getting worse. I took nozzle off sprayer, reseated and tightened and problem gone! Thank you!!!
Good deed and great service for making a valiant effort to find the sprayer Steve. You just saved her $100 for the faucet and who knows how much for labor! Class act friend! 😎💯☝️👍👌💥
Keep an assortment kit of rubber o-rings on hand, replace the o-rings on the hose since you pulled it off and then the sprayer head should unscrew from the sprayer handle, pull that piece out and there should be another probably plastic piece that comes out and you should find an o-ring on that/in there, swap it also. Should do the trick. Hope this helps someone.
My sink looks almost identical. I replaced the main faucet o-ring and it still machine guns. I will check my sprayer next. Thanks for the video. Hopefully the sprayer is the issue and an easy fix.
I had a toilet that made noise after flushing it. Called a plumber to find out that I had the shut-off valve for the water supply on it not turned up enough.
I have a similar problem. I usually take the sprayer apart And clean out with vinegar. Why does the sprayer cause this hammering? Does it not fully cut off?
Good fix Stever. You got it in the truck. Nice lady means good outcome means good Karma for all involved. My pappy used to say you get more bees with honey than with vinegar. Ain’t that the truth!!
Looks like a Moen. I just installed 2 of these Moen.. they work nice. Moen has best customer service.. if you call them, I'll bet they'll send you a new faucet.. they send you broken parts for free on their products.. at least they used to.
Steve you need to charge extra to take an oscillating facet to regular facet, people pay extra for that, just kidding, the You Tube was boring, when you truck was down, glad your back. Good job Steve, you try your hardest to make the customer happy.
