What your saying is actually underrated IMO. The Spurs were the Lakers best rivals during Kobe's peak. Greatness vs greatness almost every year in the playoffs. Lebron only had to face that kind of greatness in the finals and we saw what they did to him. Boston as well but it wasn't until Lebron joined Wade and Bosh did he get over Boston. The West was always the real finals for a while until super teams formed to compete. I'll always hold Kobe higher because he went against the best to squeeze out 5 chips. @@jessebusby7685 Jordan played in a more physical era but the other NBA player around him was nearly as talented, Kobe played around a more equally talented players even though MJ and Kobe are on a much higher tier then the rest. Put Kobe in MJ era he would more then likely have identical stat/ring/accolade. MJ not playing for 4 year on and off help his body recovered meaning he was still able to have good stat throughout his career.
