Not really. They were pretty middling. Even I as a dinosaur fan who can point out every scientific inaccuracy in the film, I enjoyed it. (such as T-Rex possessing jaws powerful enough to chomp a car in half would've murdered that giganatosaurus). They aren't terrible movies, just not amazing. They aren't MCU in which you can at least expect MOST of their movies to be absolutely incredible and a total steal in the Critics reviews. Overall they are movies that earned around a 50 in Critics and 80 in audience, which is about right for a passably enjoyable movie. Plus thinking that he didn't watch them because they were terrible is contradictory, as there is no way he could know if they were terrible to him or not unless he watched them, and knowing Mark's personality, it's more likely he doesn't care for these kind of movies instead of him actually thinking he knows they'll be bad. (I could be wrong, I don't know him personally).
