I certainly haven't seen any of this behavior since I started watching him (casually) in the past year. He can certainly be harsh and opinionated, but if someone hates him for that, it's pretty hypocritical, don't you think? Anyway, I just think it's funny how everyone is using this video of (very likely) old clips as reasoning for why they dislike him. If you're really not using this video as a vehicle to do so like you claim, you're definitely in the minority if these upvoted comments are any indication.

He has such a negative vibe when I go to his streams. On compilations he's just salty, rule-sharking (3+ more incidents at this point), gets tilted really easily, and just complains about things.

Mango is actually notably petty. Just has cult fans who try to convince you otherwise. If you want something resembling consistently respectful you probably want armada or something.
@@Stryker1297Yeah that's true enough. Mango is unusually competitive and as PPMD put it, "usually abrasive." Still, I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as Leffen. Considering all the controversy around him and his disdain for the likes of people like HBox who, despite playing using unconventional tactics that are difficult to really practice against, he has plenty of dirt on him compared to someone like Mango who, aside from the occasional mishap or behavior, is honestly more of a brute than anything else.

Why did Leffen throw the controller? Was there something wrong with it? Was it just a tantrum? I remember hearing something about him refusing to play with GameCube controllers unless it was one of like 10% of all GameCube controllers
Not defending any inappropriate behavior, but sometimes admitting defeat isn't all too bad, especially if the match isn't on the line. Some people give up on singular games because they don't want the other player to further read their playstyle for the next game.
People sometimes spend hundreds of dollars for flights to these tournaments, and you're going to rob them of an honest game because you want to hide your playstyle?

I sat and listened to just one of leffens streams and I’ve watched a couple of videos on his RU-vid channel. The guy is clearly a deeply depressed individual and has been that way for a long time. I somewhat feel sorry for him but at the same time he perpetuates negativity and makes it worse for himself. He has a huge ego problem and he may even be narcissistic in the literal sense.
So, everyone deserves to cheer and be cheered for when they win something on a stage like this. TIL that quitting like this makes it hard for people to enjoy their right to celebrate without feeling like they're cheering against someone... You almost end up framing yourself as the bad guy, both in your head and to whoever was gonna cheer anyways.
I understand leffens frustration he not only loses the match but every time he does he is near a venue full of gamers that smell like expired ham. From experience a place full of smelly players that borderline deserves to be quarantined it can mess up your concentration
