Gavle had the old style oring and Kurt was on the ball about having me ship it back to have the new blue ones installed.

The Grimberg Gavle is scary powerful for a co2 powered weapon. Also effective against big-heavy guys with thick clothing.

Great fun video. Glad the Grimberg is a simple fix. That guy at Grimberg seems really decent. I bought one of his 12 gram mags for my FSC from him. Nice steady power across all six shots. Got the email about closing out on the FSC stuff so I bought a second one. Looking forward to seeing the skull video.

I’ve had a leak from the little Allen bolt on the side of the S2 puncture cap. I took it out and put some teflon and it worked. Great test I love it

Hey dk! Quick question since I’m sure you’ve had the gavel apart. I’m replacing the lower and was wondering if there was a trick to separating it from the upper after having taken out the theee screws ( including the one recessed into the bottom rail) ?
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics Месяц назад
@@jamesczech5506 I only took the back cap off of mine to see which o-ring it had and Kurt told me to send it back and they would fix it so I didn't tear it down any further. But they do have a video on their RU-vid page about how to do it. I was checking it out because I was getting ready to break it apart before I heard back from Kurt

Hi DK! I blew the O ring in my TCR (tried to release an un-finished CO2). How would you recommend fixing that? Is there a way to strengthen that O ring?
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics Месяц назад
@@mensajay2 If you didn't lose the seal you can reuse it. It requires a full disassembly to replace it though and snap rings. I definitely have a video showing how. Let me see if I can figure out which one

Is it possible the reason most of them leak because of the oil you’re using? It look’s petroleum based and not silicone by the color.

I’m in CA and if I can’t conceal a real pistol because I’d need a permit, I want to know which one of these would I conceal carry instead. I’m leaning towards the Gavle and I think I want the pink one to make perpetrators think I have a real gun.

@@nastymkfan Good choice, not sure about the pink part, though😉
@nastymkfan
@nastymkfan 15 дней назад
@@DKSpencerCustomKinetics Of I get the gray one, then cops will be on my case stopping me wasting my time just to find out I’m carrying a blaster and not a gun. There’s an OD green with yellow and the FDE colors, which I’m not interested in. The one I’m talking about is the one with a pink slide and gray frame. At least some cops have a better chance figuring out that I have a self defense blaster. The grey frame at least makes it closer to what still looks like a cool tactical gun that many perpetrators would think that it’s a gun.

The more i see these leaking issues the more i wanna stay away from co2 pistols, i have 4 and had no issues test but only dry fires 2 and shot 2 at a target, i live in apt so have to rest them at relitives house, i rather just have a firearm if no felonies, or mental record, assult ,etc, or black power if any of those apply, co2 less lethals seem to fail alot more just like tasers!
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics Месяц назад
Overall, I typically have good luck with CO2 as far as leaks go. But, yeah, you have a chance that when you go to use it, it may not work. Especially if you let it sit for a long time and the o-rings dry out and then you go to use it before you re-lubricate it. A good idea not to just put one in your car and forget about it until time to use it. As long as you're not doing cylinder cylinder back to back and freezing the o-rings you're better off actually using the thing than sitting it up and waiting until you need it. Probably the two biggest drawbacks are the fact that the power starts dropping after the first shot and winter weather makes it much weaker. I love black powder, I would say it's considerably more reliable and WAY more powerful. Unfortunately a lot of people can't have that or actually don't want to have something that is lethal. One big thing to consider is that if a CO2 weapon malfunctions it's typically toast. And there are several points in it that can fail. Any one of those points fail and you no longer have power. Not to mention the fact that you have something that at times is going to be holding an air charge versus just having the potential energy in the cap and powder. Only one thing needs to happen in a black powder, that cap needs to be hit and if it's not wet or bad, your good. If a black powder revolver don't shoot the first time (bad cap or whatever) you've got five more cylinders that should work 😂.

@@DKSpencerCustomKinetics 😄 Great info, I never keep mine pierced untill ready to use it, I keep my mercury rise mub 50 in my left pocket in a cheap pocket holster with handle facing frontward, Ill use my right hand to pierce it first than shoot or grab it and bump it on leg, or something near by, I wouldn't leave it layin in sunlight either I would think that would melt seals or sum depending on how cheap they are, I'm not sure if u can even get 500 shots before issues, but I plan to get a new firearm soon, my G2 Taurus 9 mm was not working properly it was no recoil and no louder than a ballon pop, my mub 50 is louder so I don't less wit anymore, even putting the slide back in place after oiling it, it was very hard to do, so I'm investing in a new one

@@grimburglesslethal Hey Grimburg, you should make a launcher that accepts standard non threaded 12 gram CO2's. Only then would I consider your launcher. The power of the Gavle shows great potential but the the fact it's limited to using only threaded CO2's is not what I want.

Want a better comparison, use the LE Byrna. Not doing Byrna justice with that SD
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics
@DKSpencerCustomKinetics Месяц назад
@@arthritic Really, cause one of my LEs was 8 Joules, this SD is 10. I've got lots of videos with both. As I said it the first of this video it's not a comparison between the things this was showing power damage had nothing to do with what it was coming out of just the amount of power whatever it was coming out of was. I was comparing 10 joules to 20 and 20 to 40 I wasn't comparing one pistol to another. But if you want to see comparisons with the LE check out my other videos. I do one against the S2 on sheet metal with an LE even
