Life in the Northwoods: Picking up raw milk, Grocery haul, Trying to get our chickens to free range

We can’t get raw milk anymore in Ontario, use to get it all the time when I was a kid. Stupid government must have thought they were losing out on taxes somehow. Can remember taking my wagon or sled to the farm beside us and bringing home the milk, and the farmer always let me have a cup full out of the cooler, was always nice and cold

Get Primal kitchen mayo next time!! They use avocado oil. It’s delicious. Also, next time I recommend not freezing your raw milk because it changes the consistency once it’s thawed. Unless you don’t care haha. But the raw milk should last 3-4 weeks in the back of the fridge!!! Once it starts smelling a little sour, remember it’s not bad like pasteurized milk. It’s just morphing into the next phase lol. I use it in smoothies and stuff and then you can’t taste the sour taste. 😊

If you ever need a new refrigerator, get one with the freezer on the bottom and the fridge on top. You'll never look back!!

I just LOVE when you do videos, especially day in the life! Your life is so very different from mine and its a pleasure to see you do just ordinary things. Show us your decorating and around the cabin. I'm not very interested in the fishing ones, canoeing or camping but give me a cuerra walks around showing us stuff we haven't seen and I'm all in! Isn't it funny how this year's hens don't want to go out at all and last year's girls rushed the door every time!!! Those are the things I like to see. Also enjoy your cooking. It gives me ideas for myself. Keep up the good work. You're getting a beautiful tan,,,not too dark, just right. I have a small raised bed garden. I am growing brussels sprouts and sweet peas for the first time. They are coming up but not quite ready yet. We just had 3 straight days of rain this past week. :)

Cierra getting raw milk? What is that. I remember long ago we used to get milk delivery. Had a little box on the porch. Skeeter being a good lil guy as always. Pizza time yeah. I used to go in the alley and tee off across the neighborhood. Hood golfing . Kitty is so catty. Raw does that mean not pasteurized?

I love raw Jersey milk! After it sits a while the cream rises to the top. Raw milk will last a while just in the fridge. It does not sour like pasteurized milk.

Please don't think I'm criticizing, but you speak like a lot of young women these days. You end your statements with an upward inflection like it's a question. "I got some of this pizza sauce, I really, really like this one a lot? So I picked up these? I think you guys have heard of the brand Primal Kitchen? I've been wanting to try the ranch dressing from Primal Kitchen? I'm super pumped to try this?" Speaking in valley talk makes a person sound unsure of themselves. I think you are a confident woman, so making statements instead of asking questions would give you more credibility. Delete this post, but please consider my suggestion.
