I can't believe it's over with. I feel like we were just watching you prep for the winter! Thank you both for taking us along on this adventure. Was so bittersweet to watch the final episode of your North Woods Adventures.
I found you not long ago and have really enjoyed getting to know you. I look forward to seeing what's next! Until next Sunday, take good care of each other!!
Linnea, you make this look so easy that it makes me feel more confident that i could do something like this. This is most definitely your calling. We learn so much from you and Chris. I hope you realize how much you help some of us want to change our lives no matter what age. Looking forward to your next adventure. 🙏🐕❄️🏞💕
You guys have set your challenge bar so high, I can’t imagine what comes next. You guys are gonna look back and relish this time with such great memories. The vlog you both have created will always be a crown in your lives. I can’t wait for what comes next.
Yes, like so many others have said, this one was special. So full of happiness and poignancy. Loved seeing your mom again, the sleepover arrangements, the way you three spent a quiet evening together reading and working, the doggies playing, your baking, Tommy, all of it so special. And all in a back drop of absolute amazing beauty. Thank you.
I will miss watching you guys in the back woods and how awesome you both have thrived. Can't wait for your next adventure. You made this older woman so happy. Bless you all.💕🙏
Your mom reminds me of mine. She’s been gone almost ten years now and I just love watching your videos with your mom in them because it warms my heart so much. ❤
I'm so happy that some of your posts have recieved so many views. Great job of documenting your journey. All the things you have explored and learned about, remind me of when I was living off grid with my ex husband. I was in my late 20s. One thing I miss is the wood fired water heater that made the best baths I ever had. We had a big garden that we sold veggies and flowers from and the land had four different colors of flag iris in the spring.
Wow that sounds so amazing! Yes, I think the there will be parts of this that we miss too. Thank you for watching and for leaving such a sweet comment 💛
Enjoy the visit with your mom and daughter special moments .Looks delicious cinnamon rolls. Family first❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Your pumpkin bread also looks delicious, thank you for sharing and taking your RU-vid family along, really enjoy you'll experience and journey. The beauty of nature 💖😍
Your Mom is special! I'm going to miss these videos in the woods but I know your next adventure will be another great time. Take care until the next time! ❤
Linnea, you have no idea how much you inspire me to live my dream life. Watching the 4 of you living your winter adventures actually made me start liking snowy winter and I'm an African tropical country lover. Thank you so much for sharing so much of your life with us. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Soooooo Lucky to have a Mother like that! I love my mom but it's just...... Boy I miss my DAD!!!!!! Your mom reminds me so much of my wife's mother! Unfortunately she passed away very suddenly in 2008, 3 months before my father passed from cancer. Just remember to cherish all of those moments! Watching your mom reminds me of her and makes me happy. My wife n I love watching you guys!! Keep the great content coming. We've been together for 16yrs as of 2 days ago!!!!!!!!! We're 35 & from N.Y. Anyway. Thanks for sharing. So fun and cozy to watch!!!
This was great! I love seeing your mom in your videos. This one pulled at my heart strings. You guys have been amazing to watch! Thanks so much for taking us along. 💙🩵
I'm 59, on my own with my little dog doing van life in a converted ambulance 🚑. For me, it's been hard, really hard... physical struggles turn into being emotionally overwhelmed. There's always work that needs to be done, like survival mode 24/7. It's not all rainbows and butterflies 🌈🦋. 2 months in, starting to get a little easier 🤔👍
Looking forward to seeing more of your journeys and what lies ahead for you guys. We have followed Chris for several years, and now thoroughly enjoy watching you two life-ing together. You are awesome together and we have really loved your channel. Thanks for being so real and sharing your adventures! Safe travels ahead.
I always love the videos when you’re with your mom. She appears to be an amazing woman, funny and sweet. I can see you two share a spirit for adventure. Sending prayers for a safe departure. I’m going to miss your north woods winter home almost as much as you. 🙏❤️
Hi I have watched a few of your amazing videos. Akela is so beautiful 😍 I'm looking to make some extended trips in my camper with my 1 Yr old Fox Red Labrador puppy Brodie. Excited! ❤

It's been a true pleasure watching your winter adventures...there is something magical in winter, that's not explainable until you emerse yourself in it! You two have been inspiring and I've enjoyed watching all of your adventures. The true reflection of two people who are meant to be together! Enjoy the Keys! And Thank you all!!!
Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. I so enjoyed these videos! I liked the Dutch oven cooking segments and watching you doing the bush build. ❤
you guys are amazing. It's been such a pleasure experiencing this adventure with you. I can't wait to see what you do next. I dream about doing something like this myself one day. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. 🥰
Linnea, I have a rudimentary YT channel. I must say that the style and content of yours is perfect for what you are doing. It just works. And having lived in Maine all my life I understand the draw of the wilderness and living in it. It's a combination of self sufficiency, planning ahead, and yes a slight feeling of potential danger that is the draw. We have snowbirds here. Those that travel from here to Florida and back with the seasons. But, there is nothing quite like the feeling of a mid-winter blizzard, fire, cocoa, a hearth dog, and in my case a good woman who also is from this area. Even though as oldies we have our own adventures, we look forward to yours. Your videos are one of a small handful of 'sit down with that cocoa' and watch when you post. Thnx.
First off I hope Chris doesn't get mad but now I see where you get your beauty oh, yeah I was talking about your mom. Secondly you are in the real world and headed for chaos, that is if you're headed to a populated place. The way the jet stream is going I have a feeling y'all maybe getting one more good snow but I haven't seen the weather since that mess went through last week. All we got was rain I haven't had enough snow this year to even measure, I'm so sad. Not really. It is so beautiful up there where you are with all of that snow. I love snow I don't mind shoveling it and I enjoy driving in it, even if I am 71 years old, soon-to-be 72. Well I really am looking forward to next week to get those recipes. I have several recipes here because I'm pretty sure I told you that that my wife was a chef but she really did love to do sweets, cakes, pies, candies and the like. I can't do it like she did but I sure make a good stab at it and they turn out edible, kinda. And since y'all are leaving I suppose I'll be excited to see what y'all get into next. At least you have all of these videos you can reflect on and see what you're missing. When y'all get to the city please stay vigilant, it's kinda starting to get weird and I live way out in the country too. It's 30 minutes to where my grandkids live which is a larger Town than I live in, actually you could drive right through my little community and not even realize it because the post office is in a trailer and then I live 30 minutes from a city, not a large city but larger than the town my grandkids live in. You said there was a dog hair in your pumpkin bread. Darling I eat dog hair all the time. You probably seen my picture beside my comments so I don't mind a little hair in my mouth. My little dog, when I first got her, was losing hair left and right I had to sweep the kitchen and vacuum every other day if I didn't it would pile up literally. I don't know what it was but she has started to lose less hair now. Well I suppose I'll go ahead and end this I'm sorry it was so long but besides my dog I really don't have anyone to talk to. I only get to see my grandkids about once every 3 weeks unless I need a driver when I go to the VA for my back injections. So this time I'm going to go ahead and end it y'all please be safe please. It's crazy out there. I know I got to end it now Lacey is hungry and she's definitely letting me know. May God bless y'all on your trip and always bless y'all. Be safe!
That’s amazing that you guys spent so much time up there. I’ve learned so much watching you. When you cut the pumpkin bread I could almost smell how yummy it was. I have a Dutch oven and a fire pit and I want to try out your recipes! Excited for your videos. ❤
Sorry you have to leave your happy place. Your mom seemed to enjoy herself. There is nothing like mothers. I'll be looking for your next video. Hopefully all if you will exit smoothly. Thanks for letting us enjoy your time in the woods.
I envy the relationships you have in your life, and your talents in areas that allow you to work remotely. Watching you guys is a real treat. Looking forward to the next adventure. (And that cinniman(?) roll tutorial! 😃)
Thanks for sharing every step of the way. While the upper Midwest is amazing (Minnesota girl/Wisconsin grad here), can't wait to see what's next and alpaca socks rule!
You have brought so much sacredness to the north woods of Wisconsin, thank you! Loved being a part of the weekly process ( worried more than once I missed the sour dough making video, whew! Love getting to know Chris more ( have spent way too much time trying to figure out his channel, please list it!). Always love da mama videos, you chose well when you picked her Linnea! Tommy was so personable, wish I knew the date he was created. Have a joyful, efficient and strong week!
Ahh this is so sweet! Yes I have been delaying the sourdough video, you haven't missed it! :) Chris's personal RU-vid channel is Chris Travels or @theoffgridskoolie Thank you so much for watching!
I'm glad you guys are moving on! It was a wonderful experience but change was needed! I even mentioned it to you guys in a comment. You guys performed excellently! I call it a success in book!!! Technically each season only lasts for three months. So I call it a success, I congratulate you for making it an entire winter up north! Absolutely one hundred percent totally looking forward to what is the come next
I absolutely adore you guys! I cannot believe it's been 3 months. A little sad it's over but excited to see what's next. BTW how did the peppermint oil do? Have a great week!
My favourite parts of your videos are when you and Chris play lol he reminds me of my partner, he always finishes it especially when he doesn't start it hahaha It's going to be so emotional watching you leave 😢 Your style of filming and editing is beautiful, Linnea, always a treat ❤️
I’ve throughly enjoyed these past 3 months! I can’t believe it’s come to an end already. Do y’all think you’ll come back winter 2023/24? I was excited to see y’all build the cabin. Too bad time went by so fast! I think y’all need to buy this property!! Excited to see what is coming up tho!!
It's funny to balance a "challenge" with preparing so much and having everything you need. I know it's hard work. A good friend of mine teaches primitive skills in NC.
