I just happened upon your review and reaction to Tyler Childer's song, In Your Love. I just happen to be a 65 yr old gay widower. My husband John and I were together for 26 years. He died in 2012 from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was on oxygen 24/7 from 2004 till he passed away. So this song really rings true for me. Thank you for a great review. You know, I just wish people would learn to just simply live and let live. After all, Love is Love ❤️

I lost my Richard back in 1993 from AIDS. I remember the night he passed - I have never felt what heartbreak was like until that moment. He was 28 and I was 32. We had been together for three years - I committed to him in the hospital when he was sick with pnuemonia. I felt your love in your reply to this video and I almost did not make it through this video. It is so powerful. Having been single ever since for 30 years, it is hard to find that passion for a person who you have felt you've known for eternity. Kudos to Tyler for this song.

The story was written by Silas House and his partner, Jason Kyle Howard at at Tyler’s request . Silas is a writer and the Poet Laureate of Kentucky. House is from southeastern Kentucky also.

Subscribed. Your reaction was basically my reaction. 2 of my 4 children are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and you are right. It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight - love is truly love and it is powerful when it is real - no matter the gender.

Thanks for your sensitive reaction. I agree with what you say. I think people don't react and comment because they are still afraid of what THEY are not living and what they don't believe in. I'm a straight ally. Also people been brainwashed that it's sin. Was same thing with interracial marriage back in the day. Yes, respect Tyler Childers. Hope you can find time to do more of his work. It's always good. He's intellient and a deep thinking who can hold two thoughts in his head. And can think for himself. Just subscribed.

I truly love your humanitarian reaction. Native Americans have long known of two spirit people, and they are revered. Two of my three children are two spirit people, and they are both in loving relationships. One will be married 12 years in Dec. When my daughter came to me years ago and told me, I embraced her love as a bonus daughter. Love is love, and I was so proud of your response. My children are like any other children. They have a home and jobs, pay taxes, and just want to be free in a free country to love who they choose. Thank you so much for your openness and humanity. ❤
