I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and wasn’t even a part of the dress choosing. My sister (the bride) had the dresses designed by a designer and I just tried them on for her when they arrived. She loved them and that is all that mattered. I personally would have changed a few things but who cares because it isn’t about me!! It’s about what made her happiest that day! She was even super sweet and let us choose if we wanted sleeves or not so that we were most comfortable!

I’m beginning to think that “She has a strong personality” is polite girl-speak for “She’s an opinionated bish.”

When I was maid of honor for my sister, it was all about what she wanted! There was no "veto" omg. She wasn't running all over us, but she definitely had preferences and rules for our dresses (like that our shoulders had to be covered), and it was no big deal. We were there to support her and make her happy.

I was walking through the mall, saw a dress and said to myself: If I got married any time soon, those are the dresses my girls would wear. I got married the following October and the girls wore those dresses. Easy peasey.

For the majority of this ep, I kept on being confused who the bride is because of the monopoly of opinion here.

I was in two weddings and i literally just tried on the dress that both brides wanted, they said yes to the dress and that was it.. it wasn't my day.. it was their day... anything they wanted, I did because I love them and still do and would not want it any other way! Their days were beautiful and they were so so happy.. that's all I care about... let go of your wants and trust me, they'll listen to you and if they are set on a dress and a color, your love for the bride should be more than the color or style of the dress!

This maid of honor should be ashamed of herself. She is obviously jealous of the bride and trying to sabotage her wedding! The bride best keep her eyes on this one. If she is a friend I would hate to see her enemy!!

When I was getting married I just ordered some bridesmaids dresses online and had my bridesmaids try them on before to make sure they fit. It was zero drama. Nobody complained. I assume because they have lives and other things to do and didn't care much what they wore. One of my bridesmaids ordered the dress in another color and wears it to church all the time 😂

I was my best friends maid of honor. And everyone knows that the bridesmaids have no choice. I bet everything that she would choose pretty dresses for all of us. Boy was I wrong. We each received a phone call to go to the boutique for sizing and to pay. OMG. It was god awful and it was $400. And on top we had to pay for gloves and shoes. So $500. Now add in the price tags of hair, make up, shower and wedding gifts. And because I was the maid of honor I had to host the bridal shower and bachelorette parties. It cost me a small fortune. We each went alone to see the dresses she chose. She called us after and exclaimed "Don't you love it? I made sure to choose one you could wear after for years to come." What? Are you kidding me? We live in Miami. She picked a long purple satin and velvet gown. Obviously a bridesmaid dress. Of course I told her I loved it. But this experience made me say to myself to never agree to be in another wedding. I can't afford it and I don't ever again want to wear something that I didn't have a tiny say in. It was her dream day and she was happy. That's all that mattered in the end. And no I never wore that velvet creation again. A year later I asked her if she wanted the dress. She must have forgotten it was her bridesmaids dresses, because she said why would I wear anything so ugly. 🤣 I told her it cost $400. Her eyes widened and she said what the hell was I thinking. The irony of it all.

I was the MOH in my sister's wedding and she had a specific color and fabric picked, but the style was up to the bridesmaids so we could accent our individual figures. We all looked beautiful and the bride was happy and the most beautiful!
