I have a shoe mountain problem, and today I'm making the solution: a shoe rack. Which is quite exciting.
Really I should have made some sort of shoe organizer a long time ago.
I've also been looking forward to tackling a woodworking project for a while now. Between the two of us, Michael is the faster woodworker so whenever we have woodworking tasks on a time crunch, typically he handles them. But I wanted to take out some time just for myself to practice.

I didn’t even know there was a faster set time wood glue very cool, and that’s a good way to save on space and clutter I should build this for me and my dads boots.

It made this go a lot more quickly with only four corner clamps. It’s a bit more expensive but I think more than makes up for it in not needing to get so many clamps. Another trade off is that it is only good for interior projects.

Nice simple project. Not the look I'm going for in my closet, but the technique is awesome, gonna remember that for future projects! I had a painting tip, especially with rungs/slats etc.: just go ahead and paint them before you install them! You'll save yourself a real headache! Also, whenever you can't use a roller to paint with, try using a small dry foam roller and just roll over the area that you had to brush paint wherever you can. It gets rid of those brush marks and any excess paint too.

Nice shoe rack. You really have to stop letting your tape measure slam shut. It will deform the clip, just saying.

For sure, although I was able to get a hold of it a few weeks ago, I just checked and his plans can still be downloaded at no cost. I just happened to go'ogle Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible and got it before he decided to sell it or something lol, have a good one!
