The boys and I needed something to do, so, why not cut a tree down at night? That's safe, right? An unexpected box arrives. Let's open it on camera! Created by InShot:inshotapp.page...
Hi Max! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Rod does amazing work, no doubt. He pulled a fast one on me with precision and ease. Thank you for watching! WST

Hello Del! I am very happy you were entertained by this video! This was a hairbrained idea I had to go with the unboxing. You sure are right on the items Rod sent. Something to be pretty darn proud of and displayed with pride. I am very fortunate! Thank you as always for watching and enjoying, WST! Take care my friend!
Hello Brad! That is some high praise for low rent acting and a low budget set. Glad you enjoyed the whole gag, but the Firewood Midwest deal was real. No gag there! He got me! Take care brother! WST
Hi Daniel! Rod is a cool dude and totally got me on this one. He spent a lot of time on this to make sure he pulled the wool over my eyes! He's a good schemer and a legend in this category. Mom's Premium Limb Wood! LOL!!!!! Thanks for watching as always! WST
Hi Bill! I'm glad you saw what I did, because I didn't!! LOL!! Rod is an awesome dude and friend. He really got me on this one. Glad you enjoyed it. Take care my friend! WST
I'm a day behind watching all the videos but that was a good one, I too stared at a black screen wondering if he was really cutting it in the dark, but good move, rod does some really nice work
Hi Larry! I appreciate you sticking it out and watching the black screen. I had to sell the fact I was really cutting (I was) just something else. It was fun to do, so I hope you enjoyed it. Rod is an artist. Very nice work. Very happy to have the gag pulled on me. It was worth it! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hi Clint! I am glad you liked the video and were amused. The beginning was a hairbrained idea and the end was all Rod at Firewood Midwest. He got me good! Thanks for watching! WST
Hi Larry! Glad you enjoyed the video. We had done doing the first part, the rest was Firewood Midwest. He yanked the whole sheep over my eyes! Take care my friend! WST
THE STAN! 3 sentences and 3 priceless. I have to say this is as minimal as I ever seen you. That tells me it was good and no STAN SAUCE is needed to spice it up. Glad you enjoyed it. All the credit to Rod for a fine "wool pulling" He's the man! Take care my friend! WST
Hi Heinzie! So, I am going to let you in on the tree felling. When the lights went out, it was really that dark. No editing needed. I had a stump directly behind the oak you saw behind me. I was actually cutting on it. The pine tree was already precut and standing next to the oak. Once I was done with the "back cut" I pulled the tree over and Alex flipped the tractor lights back on. Now you know how the shenanigan was executed. You're the only one I've told LOL! Thanks for watching! WST
Hi Steve! Glad you enjoyed it. This was a hairbrained idea I had and my boys thought it was worth a shot. When teenagers say it's a good idea, you go with it immediately! Thanks for watching! WST
Love your reaction Mike! Rod does some good work on the lathe and some equally good ribbing!! Now I can be jealous of your file handles like you were jealous of the walnut bowl my Mrs. won🤣🤣🐿🔧
Hi TOA! Hope all is well. My reaction was priceless from the time the UPS driver handed me the box, all the way to the opening! Rod went above and beyond to make sure he had my pulled over my eyes (not hard to do) You can be jealous of me and I'll be jealous of you. Sounds fair... Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hey Cherry 🍒 Man! Hope all is well. Rod knows how to do it right, eh? He totally got me on this one. Premium Limb Wood LOL!!! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hi Anthony! Glad you enjoyed it. We sure had a lot of fun figuring out what we were doing! Rod gets producer credits for the second half. Thanks for watching and stay safe in that crazy weather out there. WST
Hi David! Hope all is well. The craftsmanship of the fowl and file handles is top notch. It is really impressive to behold. Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hi Chris! Hope all is well down under. That is funny! I guarantee the same result.... nothing will get done! I wanted to try and pull something off and that was the best execution I had. By the way, only one take for the part of the video! Stay tuned for more hijinks from WST. We are always scheming here. Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hi John! LOL!!!!!!!!!! Boy, you took the words right out of my mouth! I can't see words or cut down anything in the dark without my glasses! I am glad you found the humor in all this. That is what we always shoot for! Take care my friend! WST
Hey Whackin! I am glad you enjoyed the video and the low rent acting. I am curious how many people thought I would actually cut a tree down in the dark? Rod is an awesome dude, as you know. The preparation to pull this stunt off was amazing. Great guy! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
Hey Don! I am glad you enjoyed the video. Rod does some excellent work over at Firewood Midwest. Also, his heart is bigger than the state he lives in! Thank you for watching my friend! WST
Hi Harry P! I am glad you enjoyed the semi creative side of WST. We are always trying to keep it interesting. Rod knocked it out of the park on the gag! He had me going for sure. He spent a lot of time on the details to make sure he could pull it off. Not to mention the fine craftmanship on the file handles and bowl. It really is amazing to see up close. Wood is a wonderful thing in the right hands! Thanks for watching and reading my paragraph! WST
I kinda thought the lights going out was a gag…but my heart really didn’t want it to be…so I waited…hoping you wouldn’t get hurt…then LMAO when the lights came back on. Then FM…you guys are a trip. Thanks for sharing! Good times!
Hi Mike! I wanted people to think about if it was a gag or not. Felling a tree in the dark is something I would never do, but I had to challenge the viewer to see if I would do it. Rod pulled the wool over me on his gag. He got me good and that's what make this all fun. Thank you for watching my friend! WST
Hey Mike, Love this - "You want me to cut it in the dark?"...haha! You can never have too much limb wood!! Great video!! Quick question, how are you heating your workshop? Stay safe, Ed
Hi Ed! Had some fun that video. Cutting in the dark, unboxing limb wood and opening gifts. As for my shop, I use propane to heat it. I don’t like doing it, but it is what I decided. The boiler is 100 yards away from the shop. The thermal loss was too great I was told, so I went propane. I have a overhead system that is fed by a 100lbs tank. It does the job….. at a price! Thanks for watching my friend! WST
That was a great unboxing. That bowl is beautiful! Loved the night felling, I must admit I was sitting here saying, "Why would you do this?" LOL Good stuff Mike! Started my day off with a laugh.
Hi Woody! I am glad you enjoyed the video! I am glad you had the sense to know "why would he do this"... because I wouldn't. Getting people to stare at a black screen and just hear a chainsaw was the risky part. By the way, I had a stump behind the oak that I was actually cutting. That was not fake. Rod did an amazing job pulling the wool over my eyes and had to spend a lot of hours executing this all. The workmanship is amazing and very fortunate to have some of his Bowl, Sweat and Tears. Thank you for watching my friend! WST
