Yards in a season from 450 to 680, Avg yard/reception from 12.5 to 17.9, yard/game from 28.1 to 45.3, career long from 46 to 79 yard reception. He nearly doubled his 20+ yard reception/season from 6 to 11, and 40+ went from 2 to 4 and 23 first downs. He improved drastically by joining the patriots and he is usually the number three or forth option in their offense, that's an impressive achievement if you ask me.

If Edelman played for a different team he'd be playing for a different coach and a different O-Line and he'd be running different routes and getting a different amount of touches. Unless Brady drew up their playbook he doesn't get credit for players playing well. Chad Johnson didn't do anything in NE. He was a much better WR compared to Edelman as far as talent and athleticism. If Brady makes Edelman better that means he made Chad worse. In reality the system (coaching) is designed to not require top notch athletes. Small WRs and a super slow QB plus Big TEs that don't need to be fast. Brady could never make plays that Matt Ryan or Aaron Rodgers make when the protection breaks down. GB and ATL lose if their QBs are out of the game. NE still makes the playoffs with QBs no one ever heard of if Brady goes down. They win because of how they play not who plays for them.

MG23 Brady took an 0-2 Patriots team over that went 5-11 the year before and led them to their first Superbowl victory in Patriots history. Also led a 31st ranked defense with a hurt Gronk and Oline all the way to the Superbowl. All you have to do is look at players stats with Brady, then after leaving New England to see how much of a difference Brady makes. Welker went from catching 100+ catches and 1200+ yards with Brady to catching 70 passes and 700 yards with Manning. Yes, players like Edelman, Welker, etc. are good at what they do, but Brady takes good players and makes them great. He does it with every guy that comes to New England with a winning mentality and is willing to put in the work. Chad Johnson was lazy and failed to learn the New England offensive playbook to even remotely make a difference. You cant help a player who doesnt want to be helped. Hogan is becoming another example of being a better player with Brady. Brady made Malcolm Mitchell his primary reciever in a game where all of his recievers were hurt and Mitchell looked like Antonio Brown out there. We see this happening all the time and for you to even argue that is idiotic. Look up all the players that Brady has thrown 10+ TDs to and you wont recognize the majority of names on that list.

Matt Ryan has actually less weapons than Rodgers/Brady. All we have is Julio Jones. Rodgers has Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Jimmy Graham. Tom Brady has - Gronkowski, Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman. You take away Jones and we have Ridley/Sanu. Compare that to the Packers nor Pats and they have a much better wide receiver core.

MLGClient I was talking about the course of their careers. Brady had elite defenses for all of those superbowls. Three of them were one or two, and I think one was 8th. I think this season they are eighth too an 1 in scoring. He has a decent line too. Brady is probably still the better qb like I admitted, but I just cant stand it when people act like Brady is doing this by himself. Its not just Brady that is elite, the patriots are elite. Ryan has proven this season that if you give him some good players and coaching, he can be elite too.

Cam is still Cam. He had concussion issues this year and their defense was horrible. THATS WHY they didnt make the playoffs. Matt Ryan works harder, is smarter, more fundamentally sound, and efficient than Newton. Always has been. More accurate passer too, by far. Ryan plays a similar style to Tom Brady. Not the most mobile (although he is far more mobile than Brady), an above average but not ROCKET arm. Tall, slim, but extremely tough. Reads defense extremely well. Rarely gets hurt. Can make all the throws. Evades pressure well. Solid footwork. Clutch. Leadership. A cerebral QB who beats you before he steps on the field with his obsessive film study and insane preparation, then just goes out and executes. And he has more offensive weapons than Brady too. Freeman and Coleman are better RBs than NE has. Julio is the best WR in the NFL by far, no one in NE comes close (although Edelman is a beast). Ryan statistically had one of the best years in NFL history and hes always been a guy whose been top 10 QB talent and knocking on the door of elite, so it makes sense to ask...if he keeps this up could he be the next Tom Brady. And to answer your last question, Ryans stats are actually BETTER when Julio doesnt play, so yes he can win without Julio.
