Ability: Shrapnel-Projectile type moves leave behind spikes on the field, if the move hits a rock type stealth rocks appear instead, if the move hits a poison type, then poison spikes are left behind

An idea i have for an alternate mega for blastoise is to turn his cannons around so that they become like a jetpack, which would increase his speed and make his main form of attacks 'spin' or 'jet' moves like rapid spin or aqua jet :)

I was hoping Blastoise was more physical offensive, and defensive, oriented by using its cannons to propel itself to it's enemies to attack. With the steel typing being there to armor itself for defense and offense purpose. Then give it the ability to increase contact moves by 10%, and have recoil, multi-turn, and recharge based moves not have their drawbacks, but you can't use the same move twice in a row similar to gigaton hammer.

Water/flying and uses the cannons as jets to keep it suspended in the air and fly around like ironman/mario sunshine lol cmon ttar i know you can picture it 😂

Though if changed up with its 2nd mega, like shell smash inspired, where it breaks apart it's shell and becomes a water fighting type, dropping its defense to like 30-40 and buffing it's A, SpA and speed raise to match those defense drops by, and with an ability called shell shattered which will boost its attack by one stage, or reform where it boots it's defense and special defence, so like it's frail but over time it will reform its defense like making a new shell

I think it would be a lot cooler if they give it a minigun or something similar tbh. With an ability that boosts bullet and bomb moves or something idk. Steel makes sense though

I would give Blastoise something like stamina but for both defenses instead of just physical. It would be cool if when he mega evolved, the move Hydro Pump change into something fitting of his mega. Like Hydro Spike and drop the base power down to like 80 but give it a status effect like Salt Cure. It would be a water type but would do damage over time and its more effective on pokemon weak to water and steel.

Hear me out. Mega Blastoise X has the original wartortle evolution design with the Swirl Tail and Wing Ears, and it's Water Dragon. Mega Venusaur X turns into a dragon fruit and is Grass Dragon all the X Kanto Starters add dragon to their type.

to me loaded cannon sounds like an ability that causes 2-turn moves to fire in 1 like electro shot, but also increase dmg a small amount like10-20%

Mega Blastoise X ability "Under Fire" when the opponents tries to switch out the moves gets priority and gets boosted - it would act just like Pursuit under the concept of being put under suppressive fire and instead of 1 strong cannon just a bunch of little ones similar to the Gigantamax design

mega zard Z gonna be crazy it unlikely but VERY profitable if they show a tease of it in a trailer, like mega charziard reacts to the Z mega stone and it faded right before we got to see the design it'd be crazy

I want to view X Megas as someone mentioned in the Venusaur video where they could all 3 become Dragon-Type. Y Megas for the starters have abilities that reduce damage, summon weather, and increase a specific damage type. Tough Claws and Mega Launcher seem to be counterpart abilities, to make sure Venusaur X doesn't have its own counterpart ability it would probably gain Grassy Surge while Blastoise gains a Filter ability. I would hope the Gmaxes become mono-type megas for the first 2 with Blastoise-G looking like it should gain Steel.

Regarding other pokémons that could get new mega forms, there's one special case, and will definitely be a second one in Z-A,. So thinking about that, I quickly came up with an idea that would be really cool, BUT I'm explaining here why it'll most likely never happen. (but I'll give an interesting idea of who could get a new mega related to that) If you don't want all the details of my thinking, just jump to the last paragraph. First, Assuming the Snivy/Torchick/Piplup starters theory that is all but confirmed is indeed true: I think they won't get a mega, as Blaziken already has one and is nowhere near popular enough to get a second one, so I think they'll rather add a regional starter form, as that would be more exciting, i believe, and make the regional starter form a somewhat official Legends gimmick. However what could be interesting is a Kalosian Blaziken also reacting to the same blazikenite, so it also gets a new mega. Not a Y mega, but another form's X mega. That would be cool, sure, but then for Game Freak and The Pokémon Company, that would mean both giving two new forms for Blaziken at a time (normal Blaziken probably wouldn't be in the game, at least) AND being kinda "forced" to give Kalosian Empoleon and Kalosian Serperior Mega a evolution too, which in turn means giving normal Empoleon and Serperior a new mega in future games too, which isn't that bad as the previosu points as it's work load and attention to the same pokémons, but for other games. And then by extension give all other gen 4 and 5 starters a mega too to balance things out, but again in future games. and now that makes it really less believable as they usually don't want to confine themselves in rules they set up themselves, I don't think they'd do that. But there's still a possibility, as they're starters in the end, and if Megas are to return, I think they'd want all of them to get a mega down the line. The fact that they'd add 2 new forms for ALL THREE STARTERS is what makes me think it's totally impossible, especially since they'll likely give the actual Kalos starters a mega form, too, so no blazikenite in the game whatsoever. Then they can still introduce a Mega Kalosian Blaziken Y (and Empoleon/Serperior) whenever in a future game anyway, let's say Gen X. But that was the half special case that'll most likely be added in Z-A. There's already such a case of a pokémon that has a mega AND a regional form: Galarian Slowbro. Giving it a new mega with the same exact slowbronite would be cool, BUT using the same item would also "force" them in the future to have issues in two kinds of scenarios: A: they want to make let's say a regional Altaria, and are kinda forced to make a new mega too. Even worse for when charmander will be a Legends game starter, as they'll have to give it a new regional form and two megas. that'd be way too much attention to charizard for a single game. I'd even go as far as to say no attention to charizard at all for a few years wouldn't be too bad, I'm sick of his face, but whatever... B: they want to make, for instance, a regional Houndoom that'd get a third evolution to keep the megas exclusive to final stage evolutions, but now the houndoominite should logically work on it too... So yeah, sadly I don't think Galarian Slowbro will get its own mega, or if it does it'll have its own item, which means not all regional forms will get a mega, especially not Kalosian Blaziken, because to balance things out, they'd have to give all starters a mega evolution, a regional form, and a mega to that regional form. But hey, that'd be worked on bit by bit for years over many games, so who knows? No Mega Galarian Slowbro, but... maybe a Mega Galarian Slowking, though? 👀 That'd make an interesting parallel between both the two split evolutions and split regional forms.

I want a second mega for Venusaur and Blastoise but only if 2 brand new megas don't get scrapped in favor of them getting a second Mega.

Blastoise can be run either physical or special. I would make x a more physical mon. Instead of its cannons being used for crazy fire power it’s used more as a propulsion system that allows it to close the distance and hit things really hard. Raise its speed to like 90 or 100 base and give it an ability like weak armor
