Relax your pelvic floor without physical touch! Use your mind to "mentally massage" your pelvic floor muscles. Please watch the entire video once so that you learn how to position yourself, how to breathe correctly, and the muscles you need to focus on. Next time you watch, skip to 04:40 to go straight to the meditation.

I love this meditation and would love to see more like it... there's not a lot of options out there for meditations and guided relaxations focusing on relaxing the pelvis and pelvic floor, in fact most skip over this area of the body completely like it doesn’t exist.

yet another great video!! I remember doing a walking meditation in a circle and now when doing this practice i can imagine that i am walking around the inside of my pelvis!! Thank you Bri for sharing your wisdom in such a clear and slow paced way to be understood. I also appreciate your visuals, so very helpful! I feel my body soften and open to your instruction.

This week I did not have PT and decided to do a PF guided mediation instead. I love your videos so as soon as a saw the title, i got intrigued and amused by the title, but a little bit skeptical at first about the term "mental massage". Before starting, I was able to feel tensions, almost adherences in certain spots, due to a day of sitting at work. As the exercise progressed, I was actually able to feel the internal massage and my spots release one by one!! Wow, I am a veteran of this condition and I must say this is by far the best PF relaxation exercise I have ever done in 10 years with this condition. Thank you so much Docto Bri, your videos are always the best, and this one is totally incredible!! It should be taught to everyone suffering from PFD and a must do on a regular basis!

Thank you for this video.. Ive been struggling with my pelvic muscles since May this year and in the beginning had no idea what it even was or why it was happening.. By mid June i was a wreck mentally and physically with my pelvic muscles.. Still didnt really understand it , so started researching , at this point my muscles were so bad it had me in tears , deep depression and anxiety , i felt hopeless, Saturday morning i started doing some physical therapy watching videos.. This video definitely helped me to relax , probably will watch it again this week. I was in a very bad car accident in 2016 so my Left hip is permanently messed up , 15 pins and chain plating holding my full artificial hip in place because there was nothing left aroound it , was 100% shattered , i can walk but its painful , my hip has very little range of motion so makes exercising tough because i cant do several of them because i dont flex/rotate . If i can get my hip loosened up even a little would probably help

I love this but the roots thing is very very creepy and not at all relaxing. Being tethered down and unable to move is not at all compatible with releasing tension. It's a source of tension.
@vibrantpelvichealth
@vibrantpelvichealth Год назад
I am sorry to hear you experienced discomfort caused by the roots imagery. It's essential to find relaxation exercises that work best for you. Consider trying alternative imagery or sensations that promote calmness and ease. Your comfort and well-being are the priority. ~ Leila from Vibrant Support

@@vibrantpelvichealth thanks! I just ff through that part because the rest is so helpful. I just find it fascinating how what is comforting for one person is the opposite for others. I'm still confused on how being tied down or tethered to the earth is compatible with opening up and releasing restrictions. It seems so counter intuitive to me.
