Very helpful video. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. Great point on the door handles. My wife sometimes gets frustrated with those, I will have to show her your video.
Thanks for the response 👍, that's why I make these videos. Also, you may have to press harder than you expected as you swipe from the rear forward. I've been caught a few times having to push or swipe more than once because I am being too gentle with my touch.
Enjoyed your video, as always. I'll be taking my EQS on its first road trip (from Wake Forest, NC to Long Island, NY) in October. I'll be sure to watch all your videos once again, as I prepare for my trip.
I recommend mapping out the route with your planned stops and alternates. For my first trip, I used Google Maps and the EA website to build a PowerPoint slide of my route and possible charging stations along the way
@@EQS-Owner Exactly what I started to do recently. Thanks for the tip. I also switched to the satellite view today. Much nicer view. Thanks for this tip too!! 😀
Another very helpful video, thank you. I never thought of telling car when not to charge. When going on a road trip, I want to start with 100% charge, but don’t want battery residing at 100% for a long time. I find out how long it will take to achieve 100% and simply start charge that many hours prior to departure.
Thank you for the Videos. I am coming from a Tesla Model X and just love my EQS SUV, so quiet and smooth, refined. However I have a question on locking the doors. I cannot get the car to lock when I walk away from it. I have auto lock doors on in the settings, but i either have to tap on the handle or press the lock button on the fob. All the cars I have owned for over 10 years have always locked when I walked away and I forgotten to lock the car several times. I get a reminder on my phone app to lock! Any ideas? The dealer told me there is no way to get car to lock when you walk away - just touch the handle or use the fob. Thanks
Great video! I see that you have battery precondition features on your car. Can you tell me which software version you have? I had my dealer update to what they say is the newest software, but i still dont see the same functions for pre condition as you have in the EQ menu :/
The buttons along the bottom of the zero screen are based on your recent activity. I had used that feature earlier, so the car offered it as a choice. I normally just use the "Where to?" button at the top and the previous destinations is in the middle at the top
I really enjoy your videos - very to the point! Owning Teslas for 7 years taught me a lot; however, there is so much more to learn with the EQS. I cannot find any videos on gestures in the EQS. Is this a possibility in the future, or did I miss one?
Thanks. I financed because I wanted a lower monthly payment and planned to trade this in for a 2025 model with ALL the features I wanted but were not available right now. The market is going the wrong way right now, so I will probably just stay with this one for a while.
@@kostyaw83 I've made around 8 trips and the battery is still fully healthy as far as I know - actually have not looked into how to check with these cars yet
