Or impossible. I knew two people like the leads Mark & Jez. Only difference is they seem to be a mixture of a couple different people and then added on suspension of disbelief. In reality, Mark would be in a relationship with a kid (Even if depressed and stressed) or he would be an alcoholic or really off in the head (Like an OCD clean freak). He is just too functional to be unfulfilled by a family core. Then Jez was like several people I used to know and run away from these days. He would also be in an oddly strong relationship (Need to survive plus his charm and looks), a full time drug addict with zero social skills, or have a job that at least gets him his own place (Taking away his need for a dependent friend). Especially over in the U.K. where class structure and efficiency is key to routine, not to mention the cost of living. So yes, dark, but not in reality. This is purely a stage for our amusement and you will never see these outcomes possibly come to life without some grounded reality. Peep show lacks that grounded realism for our pleasure. Think of this more as theatre. Euphoria, although not a comedy and American is more dark realism due to the writer pulling from his life (Inside-out). I believe Peep Show is more of an intelligent outside-in look at that life instead.

@@shaha9 Why do you find it difficult to believe Mark & Jez would be single? They'd both have difficulty maintaining a relationship; Mark would also have difficulty starting one.

@@davidz2562 I always felt like that throughout the show. As if, being single was kind of the motivation or gimmick through the series. Trust me, anyone like them can be single for a period. I just doubt it would last more than a few weeks.

@@shaha9 Why do you doubt Mark & Jez being single for more than a few weeks? Mark isn't appealing, so it's likely he'd be single for years. Jez would struggle to continue a relationship, so he could be single for months or years between relationships.

@@shaha9 not all people are meant to have a family core or can be deemed dysfunctional without one. IMany people like Mark marry out of embarrassment or to add to their dysfunction.Family cores are often rotten and all humans single or married have the capacity to be utterly mad.....being marriedi does not make one whole but it is good to hide behind.

@@onlyontuesdays4483 it's become a public service in a way. Since people have picked up the slack and kept David Z2 occupied by replying to comments we've seen substantially lower numbers of stray cats being inexplicably shaved against their will on the streets of the UK, lower reported rates of people exposing their genitalia in public places and a greatly reduced volume of reports of "urine attacks". Now there's a chance these things are unrelated, but I think we can all see the obvious correlation here

I haven't been commenting on YT anywhere near that long. Anything that was written, uploaded etc. on YT that long ago wasn't me.

The only other YT account I've had is David Z, which I was unable to use when the laptop I used to access it stopped working & I didn't remember the login details. I started using this account shortly afterwards. None of my comments are misogynistic. Many viewers dislike Dobby, for very good reasons. Disliking a fictional female character is nothing like misogyny. No-one's claiming that she represents a type of woman, let alone women in general.

@@davidz2562 I've just pointed out that although you don't like the sentence that has been used it's still grammatically acceptable. In all honesty it would probably fit into informal writing more acceptably than your ampersand. It's fair to say that an ampersand is generally used in signage, website buttons or when space is generally limited, this is none of the above, it's just lackluster writing of which we've all come to expect from you. It's clear you don't want to talk about peep show, you've made that abundantly clear by now, but for the sake of everyone who has the misfortune to read your drivel at least try to articulate yourself properly and not drag others down with the lazy, uninspiring scrawl you put on RU-vid.
