METALHEAD REACTION TO KPOP - DREAMCATCHER - 'ENDLESS NIGHT' 

They won't drop anything like this in Korea so the pure metal will continue to be only a small part of their music, probably limited to Japan where metal is popular.

It is definitely in Japanese....making it one of the most perfect songs for an anime.

They got a j-rock guiartist and drummer to do this song. I believe the drummer is Katsuma from the band Coldrain and the song was Composed and Arranged By the Guitarist Kuboty from Totalfat. So thats why it is more in the j-rock spectrum then their usual kpop/rock style. Just like their first few songs they are starting with a more heaving j-rock sound but as they put more songs out they will get a feel for their style again and it will probably ton down a bit. But otherwise I really loved this song and the change they decided to go with since I used to follow j-rock elusively. Thanks for your reaction!

So this is the equivalent to "classic musicians react to k-pop" but with metal lmao. It's so nice to see your reactions guys, completely different from someone who's not into metal or has zero knowledge about it. i believe this is the heaviest dreamcatcher has gone with the rock sound actually, over all (if we look into both japanese and korean releases) and i personally love it. but it definitely caught me off guard! i hope they'll do something this heavy for a korean comeback as well some time. also, great reaction :)

As someone who consistently loathed when people would compare DC and Babymetal because they're so different, this song gave me MAJOR BM vibes. To me this song sounds like the composers took inspiration from Kagerou, Karate, and maybe just a little Road of Resistance.

I knew you'd reaction to it, was waiting for this. I believe this went so hard cos it's more catered for j-rock. While in K-pop mainstream, I believe, would not be able to accept this sound.

They absolutely nailed the jpop metal sound with this. And that breakdown before the last chorus was great. It actually reminded me of like warmen or something. The guitarist sounded like they had a lot of fun with all the shredding going on in the background.

I hadn't heard of these ladies until their live cover of Big Bang's Bang Bang Bang showed up in my recommendations. Going back through their discography was like "How have I NOT heard of em?". They made it their own. These ladies are truly talented and I wish they were more well known.

I'd recommand for you guys the group Burst Girls. They are a small japanese punk rock idol group. Very unique, super fun. I went to one of their show last summer and it was an awesome experience! The song "Great FXXking my world" became an instant favorite of mine.

Dreamcatcher is so verse loved that they did more metal like music. Truly talented.

If you into K-rock, you should check out this group call Vincit (or Vincit Omnia) which they just release their "first" official debut song call "I don't wanna die" which is a good and catchy rock song. And Dreamcatcher also release a self-made MV for Sahara (don't be shock by the production value since it is self-made but it is still a great song and you should watch it with sub-titles to enjoy it even more).
