ON this video we review the Combat Troodon John Wick KNife from DHgate All Music Licensed in this Video through Soundstripe Hurry up!I discovered great products on Dhgate.com. m.dhgate.com/product/combat-t...
I bought and returned two different authentic Microtech knives because they were so difficult to open. Purchased a clone from DH Gate and liked it far better. Easy to open and reliable
Great thing about the clone dagger blade is I don't feel bad about reprofiling the edge to drop the angle. Approximately 24°on my work sharp worked great.
Hey thanks for watching!!!! Where you at in AZ? I hope you enjoy the clones some of them are great others can be a pain …. Just don’t pry with the clones and you should be fine -
@@ArizonaLifestyles1 Peoria! And it’s crazy but both knives I ordered you featured in this video, also I had bought an OTF from a local smoke shop that looks almost exact to that ravencrest
Some of these clones are insane in how they replicate the details and even the weight of the real thing for a fraction of the cost. The clones I got went up there in price. No higher than 60 bucks for my Combat Troodon clone. The first version I bought was a tad lighter than the real thing and the screws came off at one point. Also not the correct clip. The 2nd version I got is more clone correct with the correct clip and markings. VERY impressive. The new Microtech Glykon is BARELY out and already there's a clone of it on DHGATE. They work FAST. For the price of 60 bucks, it's literally a steal to get one.
Thanks for the comments - I am going to take a look at the Glykon - maybe get it - and by the way this knife jammed up and It now doesn’t work …. Thanks for watching
@@ArizonaLifestyles1 I'm currently carrying another clone that's VERY WELL made. The screws hasn't fallen off and has yet to jam up on me. I have been cleaning it every so often to prevent it. The Halo VI clone I have is starting to break down with the latch being loose and tightness of the deployed blade being wore out
@@ArizonaLifestyles1 I honestly don't pay attention to the seller on DHgate. I think they are all made in the same factory. I have a Halo V with the drop point, which broke. Then I got a Halo VI with the hellhound blade with his starting to break, so I plan to get another one. My current Combat Troodon is holding up nicely so I am not getting another one. I have a Benchmade Autocrat clone that's holding up very well. I have a sliver colored Ultratech with a partly serrated blade. Another ultra tech with the spartan blade. I have a Makora II but the thing rattles so I plan on getting another. I really like the asheville steel Paragon clone I got. VERY well made. I got an EXOCET in Bounty Hunter colors.
Hope it’s better than mine - after about 4 months the blade locked up now it’s in a parts bag- I love that knife just these cheap clone OTF you have to treat them gently - no pry bar action it binds them up ! But for the price it’s worth a try ! Thanks for watching and commenting
Good question ! Carbon fiber Bugout check my channel for the full review and if you are interested check out my last long form video - I recap all of my knives -
The fact the blade is already distorted from a few jabs into a 2x4 demonstrates how this clone will hold up. It won't. A knife is a tool and can help out in a life threatening situation which is the LAST place you want to be with something of questionable quality. Sure if you just want it to flick and look cool, why not? TBH, Fuck clones! Whether it be wrist watches, mechanical mods (vaping), knives, or flashlights. The real deal is expensive for a reason. Save up money and get the real thing folks!
Maybe only the blade is 10 times better but the mechanism is on par lol.. So probably better to buy the clones since overall the real one isn't actually 10x better 😂😂
@@Elmax17.5dps the crazy thing is I don’t know - it just stopped sliding - I took it apart and filed it down and still didn’t work - I really liked it - but a real one is like 700 bucks …. May get a hellhound clone next
@@ArizonaLifestyles1 it's beyond belief brother beyond belief what you can do with a blade. if you're into knives and you're not sharpening like a pro it's like owning fishing tackle but there's no water around
