As someone who works in the private construction industry and works with govt employees daily….you’re exactly right. Some much wasted money on useless employees, so much regulation, preaching the “chain of command”. They could slash their city employee workforce by 1/3 and not even skip a beat. The amount of money these people are paid through tax-funded dollars to do no work is sickening.

I am amazed at the number of you tubers like Mike who started doing videos about the things they do, or their hobbies or about something completely apolitical. Eventually they are forced to react at what is going on around us. They feel that they just cant say nothing anymore. There are still many who refuse to be drawn in for fear of upsetting someone especially someone in power, but it is refreshing to see that more and more good people like Mike feel that they have to say what they see. Congratulations on your awakening. I am almost twenty years older that you and I began to awaken when I was sixteen years old. I sat in the office of a well-known and "beloved" New Jersey politician and listened to him solicit my father for a bribe for an appointment to a service academy for me. He did not pay up and I was and still am proud of him. It was a valuable lesson in the way things work. I feel that we, as a people, are nearing the edge of a great precipice and things are due for a massive change. I believe that as more and more ordinary people wake up to the corruption and organized crime that is American politics they will work to defeat the evil that runs and ruins our lives. I pray that the Good Lord lets me live long enough to see it. I also pray that it will not end in tears and blood. Know your neighbors and work with them for everyone's good. Buy gold and silver and stockpile the necessities of life, food, water and ammunition. Get some good physical textbooks on useful subjects, language, mathematics, science and the manual arts and keep them safe. Love God, love your family and love our country. Keep doing what you are doing. And yes, I am a crazy old man but I hope I at least have some common sense.

Yep, nailed it. As for building permits, we are doing a project right now that would take me two weeks and cost me $5,000 if there were NO permitting evolved. After permitting it will cost $30,000 for the build and another $28,000 in carry cost to cover the 4 month delay. From a $5,000 job to a 58,000 job with NO added benefit thanks to government.

I've been watching a certain amount of RU-vid channels for going on 7 years probably. Your channel being one of them, and i can confidently say this video is the best video ever on this platform. Bible tells us that the borrower is slave to the lender and i firmly believe that this country is not going to realize that issue until its to late.

Hi there Mike you are 100% correct on everything you said! I do a farmer's market in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex where I take all of my fresh produce that we raise here on the farm and yesterday the only thing I basically did was trying to educate people on how bad things are getting and there is so many people that have no clue what's really going on in the real world. At one point I had over 20 people listening hopefully it goes through at least two or three people and it sinks in!

I completely agree Mike. We drove from Missouri to State College Pa a few weeks ago. The interstaes are absolutely awful. Hit a pothole that destroyed a 6 week old tire. That is just the perfect representation of our government at work. Tax everything about your vehicle and its fuel, demand saftey measures and inspections to drive on roads that are completely unsafe and falling apart. I cant help but think that our country is far beyond the point of no return. Keep up the good videos!

I watch your show to learn, but also for your family dynamics. It looks like you have a well grounded family. I love how it appears you and your whole family love and care for Hunter. I am a science teacher here in Colorado and I have had many students on the spectrum and each one is unique and I see no one plan that works for these students you just need to be tolerant of their individual quirks and needs. I bring this up to comment on this particular video. It seems to me most people are good people and it is ok to disagree with someone and try to remember that just because you disagree it doesn't mean you cannot learn from them. No one knows everything and new knowledge can come from many sources, you just need to be willing to listen. I don't watch because we agree on everything, I watch you because I can learn things from you. Thanks for the knowledge 👍

I remember about forty some years ago I was talking to an old farmer who was probably in his early 80's and politics came up. What he told me I didn't think much about it at the time but he pointed his finger at me and said "remember young man not all liars are politicians but all politicians are liars" He was right and you are right. Outstanding video Mike and you are definitely spot on! I'm retired now but I owned my own business for the last 45 years. (I'm 72 now) Coming from that self-employed background really makes you able to see the how ridiculous the spending by our government is. We had payroll to make, budgets to be met, profit and loss analysis to be reviewed on all projects. and if we didn't make money, we wouldn't be in business very long! What a concept! Thanks again for the video.

It’s great to see you using your platform to share some truths that people really need to hear and understand. Very well said Mike, couldn’t agree more. Some time ago Warren Buffett was asked about the budget deficit and he jokingly said that he could "end the deficit in five minutes." He then went on to say that all sitting members of Congress should be ineligible for re-election if the deficit is more than 3% of GDP. I think it’s a brilliant idea and should be enacted into law along with term and age limits, no lobbying jobs allowed either before or after public service at any level, and as you suggested, 50% cuts across the board… I think they’d be a good start. My two cents… don’t hesitate to voice your opinion, we are with you.

I enjoy everything that you and yourfmily does or says! being an 86 year old person who sits alone after raising nieces and nephews, the wife died 5 years ago after 59 years, I am like you, I really don't care what others do. I was a walking mailman for 18 years, was bitten by a lot of dogs, learned to get along with folks but had to retire on disability after falling through a rotten porch. Went to work for a small communications company worked side by side with a lot of different folks and learned a lot about life, just like you talk about!
