Just goes to show you that a old car with a decent engine and gear box with none of the crap our modern cars now come with can get done the road with less HP. That thing is quicker then my B8 Passat GT, Bet it it much more fun to drive too. Every time I see the Orange Focus if forget that it is a donor car for the mk 2 Escort custom build. That is a stonking Mk 1, great sound going up the road and through the gears. Got to say it sounds a bit like my Dads old Alfa Giulia (circ1971) that had twin webbers on it and it went like stink! I would love that car. I had a Mk2 4 door back in early 90s but always preferred the shape of the 2 door Mk1(especially with the forest arches). The gold minilites and the blue and white stripes are awesome. I'd personally remove the chin spoiler as I feel it doesn't need it but otherwise what a build.
