Just ran across your videos. I’ve been in my manufactured home for 3 years now and I love my home. The first year with minor issues we fixed promptly by the manufacturer (Southern Energy homes out of AL). Your five reasons in your other video were mine exactly. I like your style, I will be subscribing.

My Champion built doublewide was built in 1999. Living in the northern states, our weather's can be brutal but our home is always warm and cozy in winter and nice and cool in Summer helped very much by our central air. We have sheetrock walls and 3 beautiful skylights and my master bath and bedroom are both so nice and roomy. We bought ours 10 years ago for only 53,000. Almost paid off and worth much more now. My first home I ever owned as an adult was my Broadmore singlewide. It didn't have very good plumbing in the bathroom and my bathroom flooded more than once but all in all a stick built home where I live runs around 400,000 now, I'd rather have our Champion home any day. And these manufactured homes are just getting better. ❤ Congrats on your new home, very exciting!!

Nothing will happen to your floors. My house was built in 1995. Nothing wrong with my floors. My parents been living in their house for 33 years nothing wrong with their floors.

Thanks for the transparency about your well. I'm single, female and 71. My water has iron, so when I moved in and the house had been empty for months my toilet tank had a thick coating of brown slime. This was iron bacteria. Very common in lake districts like Ontario, Michigan, Minnesota, totally benign. But after I moved in there was never a buildup again. I do get little grains of black granite in the cold hose filter to my washer, so I check it every so often. My kitchen faucet, too. Some people here have multi-thousand dollar filtration systems between their well and the pressure tank. Maybe I should. Once, later in the 18 years I've been here my plumber blew the sediment out of the pressure tank. I wondered if I should get a new tank, but he figured it had lots of life left in it. Renters who believe home ownership costs end at mortgage payments and property tax should understand all the working parts we're responsible for. You're helping people with just that!

New to ur channel I have a manufactured home as well. My home is a 1998 I put a lot of work into it I bricked it up I put ceramic floors in took all those old crazy strips that I hate hate hated 😍🙄. when people walk in my home they give me so many compliments they don't realize it's a manufactured home I'm loving the vibe of your video thank you for sharing

I've been thinking about buying a mobile home because I am single without children (not that it's entirely the reason why but hear me out) I'm just tired of renting 1 bedrooms or even 2 bedroom apartments, feeling like I never have enough space, I'm always going up elevators or climbing stairs and I'm just THROWING money away. Now technically you could argue I'd be throwing money away owning a mobile home as well, but I would argue on a much slower scale, but if you own the property and this is what I ultimately want to do I then feel like I am not throwing my money away at all. I know it costs a lot to buy a piece of unimproved land and build out a septic and electrical for it, but I've been popping on zillow and searching manufactured homes only and weeding out the ones that aren't on private land and searching for the lowest cost one possible. The idea being I'm essentially just paying for the improved land, the mobile home having no value I can either remodel and live in it or remodel and rent it out while I add another manufactured home on the property for myself. Since electrical has already been made and same with the septic system, you've just saved like $30,000. I figure I'm 40 years old and lived a pretty rough life between sports, drinking and hard labor work, so I probably at best got another 40 years left in me so this all kind of lines up perfect in my head.

We purchased our home in 2020 and love it! We have a Destiny Home and they came out to fix the squeaky floor. We have not had the issue since. I'm a new subscriber - love your channel!

Have you every had issues with noise during the day? Im a shift workers snd sleep during the day snd would need something that is quiet! Hi there. Thanks for sharing. Had no idea about the ice maker. Went to Clayton homes 1st and they were charging 24,000 in shipping charges since I’m in Texas and their plant is somewhere in Arizona. Total price for a modular home would have been $313,000 (1580 sq feet). Went to Palm Harbor for my modular home and closed 3 weeks ago.

New to the channel, what manufacturer name on your home. I have a winston home and I am loving it. I didn't have any issues they came out an ensured with me that there wasn't any issues checking every inch of the home.

I think you have a beautiful place looks great, but I'm so sorry that they seem to be taking advantage of you being a first time home owner, that's the way it feels not going to lie. But watching how you're reacting to all of this in the video makes me believe you're on to them as well lol.
