Ciao Luca, Il tuo video mi è molto utile e vorrei chiederti conferma se la procedura è valida anche per un motore del tdm 850 del 97,che se non erro é molto simile al motore su cui operi in questo video. Grazie
mannicor6 si la procedura è simile, cambia solo la disposizione dei pistoni, visto che il tuo modello li ha a 270° a differenza di questo che sono a 360° devi iniziare dal riferimento del cilindro n 1 ... ciao

I just got an xtz 750 me 100,000 I cleaned calipers and valves caps some for adjustment now to how many kilometers does the engine have life ??? will I go up to 200,000 ???? i mean with normal its services in all the videos I saw on the internet here I have not seen more than all the kilometers in there they are at 50,000 60,000 maybe they have zeroed them ???? is there anyone who has kept this machine from the beginning ?? first hand?????
I have a TRX, which is essentially the same. I can't get all the marks to line up without leaving a lot of slack in the chain, and when I turn the engine over (by hand) and check the timing marks, they are always slightly out, which I assume is due to the cam chain tensioner pulling the sprocket back a little bit. Anyway, thanks for replying to a comment on an old video. It's very difficult to get information on the TRX engine. There is a forum but it's useless.@@LucaRettondini
@@alanwilliams3677 Yes, it's very similar, to set the timing you have to start from the exhaust side, put the chain guide with the chain tensioned making the reference coincide, then put the fairing on the intake sprocket, keeping the camshafts still with tools, just to last put the chain tensioner.
Decidi tu quale mettere in compressione, visto che in questo caso la catena era stata tolta, i pistoni sono a 360° quindi paralleli, altrimenti è il cilindro con le camme rivolte all'esterno
Quando di cambia la catena gli alberi non si smontano, quindi sono ancora al loro posto, nel video faccio vedere solo il montaggio della catena e la messa in fase.
