Great make do and mend video 👍 I used some black silicon on my screen which appears to stop the water coming through. You may need to put some in the outside of the lower driver side corner of the screen rubber. If your duct tape lifts at the corner, when you replace it, cut a radius on the corners of the tape, does not snag so easily and lift
Thanks great bodging tips. Like the duct tape, I will do that when it inevitably life’s. Both bodges seem to be holding well at the moment though as I’m on a long trip. The silicon has set to look almost indistinguishable to the rubber!
if your going too too do a job, do it properly. good grief, a window rubber is pennies. much cheaper, than a new floor, after the water soaks the underlay and carpet and rots the floor out.
Yes I definitely will in due course. Didn’t have time before my trip though and also windscreen needs replacing as it has wiper scratches. Bodge has stopped the leak though!😀
