The 705 and ATAS. Interesting combo. How do I tune it, you may ask? I tuned it with my FT-891, unplugged my 891 and plugged it into my 705! How about that. Hah. In all seriousness, I had planned to use my 891 but then decided I felt like using the 705 so just hooked it up and went with it. Made for a nice slow paced QRP CW Parks on the Air (POTA) activation at Tuskegee National Forest (K-4451).
Since there aren’t too many contacts in this video, I also added the callsigns on screen as they come in. I wish I could do that more often but on some of the long videos, it’s just too time consuming to do during editing.
