Most amazing “bang for buck” homage watch. The Steinhart Ocean One Military Vintage 

I own one for about 4 years now. My everyday carry watch. I am very happy with that beautiful watch!

I’ve had my OVM for about two years, of my 13 autos it’s worn probably the second most, great value and iconic look.

I'm thinking of making this my second Steinhart. Love the fully graduated bezel - I actually use these for timing.

I ordered my steinhart ocean one military vintage yesterday i'm excited for it to get here. It's such a beautiful looking watch

I love my OVM......I wear it a lot....that & my Dan Henry 1970 compressor sub (orange dial)...... my two watches that get the most wrist time!

I have this watch and it is a brilliantly specced watch for the money. Only Gripe for me is the Steinhart straight Lugs. I recently purchased a Ginault Ocean Rover 2 for 1kGBP. The Ginault OR2 is the best homage out there period, it is on a totally different level.

Going to be Steinhart # 5. Quality at a fair price.

I have one steinhart ovm 39 gnomen. Awesome movement! 50 sec. late after 5 weeks.

Without ever having handled those new San Martin retro-divers (which look excellent in pics and videos), I'd offer a slight correction and say that the 39mm version of the OVM is the best one out there.

If I may: Try to grab one of the first batch, it says 200m instead of 300m, like it was on the old Mil Sub. And it misses the „Ocean One“ lettering under the twelve, which looks way better.

I have an Ocean one 39mm, with the ceramic bezel. I decided this would be the beater watch in my collection. I really enjoy the watch. Keeps very good time, you can see the quality of the polished and brushed steel in the case. The bezel rotates with a quality feel. The feel of the watch as you move the hands, or set the date, also feels quality. I got the rubber strap with the dual clasp and love the way it looks on my wrist. The dial lume and markers are sharp and look great. The dial face has a matte (black) look to it, but I like that myself. My only (minor complaints) is the sapphire crystal is coated top and bottom with the blue ant-glare, and in some light, it throws a blue tint. The cyclops at the date could have been done better, the top part against the crystal looks like the polish could be better. But overall I would highly recommend this for anyone.

Who cares? - that's not why I'm watching your review (actually immediately panned the otherreview but did watch yours to completion) Thnk you for your time reviewing it. i just rec'd mine ystrdy in the mail, used from Calif. I too (just like you) really like this watch and it's become my favorite.

Great review! I have a 42mm Vintage Red on a grey and black Bond nato that has become my signature watch. I was so impressed with the quality and value that I've decided to order another one -- plain black on ss bracelet. Question -- is your bracelet the 22x18mm or 22x20? I think 18mm at the clasp might be a bit dainty for such a rugged tool watch.
