the boy on the school bus killed was identified as 5 year old Ulises Rodriguez Montoya. Teachers described him as smart and that he loved dinosaurs. Fly high Ulises. Fly high to the other motorist also killed in the crash as well and my both their souls rest in peace.

When they are issued a DL it should have a DWI and suspension already on record.

Time to get rid of old school buses that has no seatbelts and build a new school buses with seatbelts

Or we could put seatbelts in the existing buses... Thinking a bit like a leftie that it takes billions of dollars and wasting existing buses just to get seatbelts.

The school isn’t gonna be liable for the kids putting on their seatbelts I’ll tell you that much for sure better choice would be to keep these semis and big trucks off these side roads where they don’t belong

One & only issue I had against seat belts was if I had to get kids out in a hurry. I rehearsed with kids on what to do in case of a firey crash. Especially if I didn't have an aide. When I drove special needs kids, it was always on my mind as they were in seat belts & wheel chairs. Only had 1 aide for about 20 kids. I was an EMT as well & mom & treated my bus kids as if they were mine.
