This is easily, my favorite drag racing class, period. Having always loved sleepers, this is the ultimate. I so wish this was on the western part of the country. It is actually inspiring me to do my next several engine builds, with a very OE appearance, useing tricks these guys use internally to make up the difference, and then some. Who needs headers or slicks, not these guys. Amazing numbers.
@@soxfunny98 people like the street outlaws should be ashamed!! full bodied cars, with engines that are actually from Detroit, and turning mid 10's on a 7 or 8 inch wide street tires! plus these are just real cars, unlike the purpose built shells of the street outlaws. dollar for dollar. or pound for pound, the f.a.s.t. class guys are the clear winners!
That 340 duster pulling a almost flat 12 second will beat alot of modern muscle cars. Vette, Camaro, mustangs, the modern mopars, even the Hellcat, its just too fuckin heavy. A body mopars kick ass
i wish that everyone who misses the days of REAL street cars would tweet to the discovery channel, and street outlaws and tell them we want a show like street outlaws. except make it a class similar to F.A.S.T., but with no restriction on tire WIDTH! do anything you want to the car internally, but it must be on a treaded street tire!!
