There is anyway quite a lot of double content, some on Jamie's page from Gennaro's page etc. I think especially now when Jamie's empire fell flat they are recycling their most popular past content.
Thank you for this lovely video. Many years ago as a younger man I was studying mycology to become a mycologist. I never did , but I happened upon you dear friend Antonio’s cookbook “ a passion for mushrooms” and I never bought another mushroom cook book. I have made many of his recipes. Now I am old unlike you, ha, and love watching you cook. Thanks
It's great that you wanna learn about mushrooms! :) Unfortunately, Gennaro does not have the knowledge it takes to safely educate people on mushrooms. If a person doesn't even know which mushrooms are deadly - which is extremely important and the number one thing you should learn, something Gennaro obviously skipped because he's calling an edible, tasty mushroom extremely poisonous - imagine what else can go wrong!
I love mushrooms, this looks so good, kept getting chills watching this. Wish I could go on a shroom hunting Gennaro, your channel is too underrated for how such amazing person you are, grazie!
I was witht hem during this trip. The risotto made most uf us very very very sick with lots of stomache pains. Never ever i will trust anyone about mushroom unless i find them in the shop!
The wooly cap, lactarius torminosus, is NOT extremely poisonous. If you don't boil it for 5-15 minutes before eating it will taste like crap and might upset your stomach a bit, but it will NOT kill you. It's an edible mushroom and one of the most popular ones in Finland. Russula emetica wont kill you either. I usually enjoy Gennaros videos, but if you're gonna teach somebody about mushrooms you should know what you're talking about. Back to school, Gennaro!
Big big fan of.your cuisine...addicted..I literally watch your videos on repeat and laugh so hard... happy that I come through your channel ...xoxox love from Montreal
The most important is please never go on your own, or then show them to a pharmacist, but never lick your finger or put them in your eyes ect while picking if you arent sure what you are picking up
