Wanna destroy traditional caprese and ruin the salad for the rest of your life? Cut up a fresh peach into small pieces and throw it in! Then drizzle a little balsamic glaze over the top. You'll never eat it the traditional way again... unless... you don't have any peaches.

Where would you lot suggest that he stand ? And have you not considered that a teenager has been TOLD exactly where to stay ? Clearly the runners of the show did not want him out amongst the crowd ( the punters ). So, where to go ? The ceiling ? 😅
Oh dear…the mama just reminded me of my two grandmothers. Both long passed away. Youngsters from Anglo-Celtic families of today more than likely know absolutely nothing at all of life as it was lived only several decades ago. I just guiltily remembered how they both n e v e r seemed to sit down at all, especially the maternal one, and spent entire days in the kitchen ( & garden ). N e v e r wore pants, & almost n e v e r ate out, or ( perish the thought ! ) ate take away food. The only food prepared by strangers that they ate was that prepared by neighbours…other old women, mostly.
Thank you Gennaro for posting these videos. 40 years ago I fell in love with Italy after just one visit, and I learned to cook Italian food at home because my father wouldn't eat 'anything foreign' and Mother was only allowed to cook English dinners - so I had to learn to cook it myself. When I was 17 I made a pasta bolognese for my boyfriend and he was impressed hehe. I brought my family up on traditional Italian food, made my own pasta etc, you can't beat it :o) I love these videos, they are so inspiring!

My dear hero Chef Gennaro, in the middle east, we add a teaspoon or two of tumeric to our chicken stock for a wonderful color and aroma. It's also a very powerful antioxidant. ❤
