Fox body 5.0 will always stand out, there is no copy from any other mustang generation. During the 80's & 90's these cars dominate the streets from west coast to east coast, they were every where movies, music video, magazines, racers choice, with only pulleys, gears, air filter, & some good tires now you can run 13's, plus the motor is good for 500 hp, fuel injection hot rod after market performance started from this car. The only type of car I've ever owned. Got my first Fox bod, an 85GT, in '88 and haven't been without one since. It's great to see in 2013 the car still has such a strong following. And I don't care how many times it's been done: the Fox 5.0 and Flowmasters go together like peanut butter and jelly. lol I think I see a few Stangnet guys.
A fastback is a car body style whose roofline slopes continuously down at the back. A hatchback is a car body configuration with a rear door that swings upward to provide access to a cargo area. The 60's fastbacks rear glass did not open, the 79-93 hatches glass came up with the door. Sometimes you see 'em listed as three door and some consider the hatch a third door.
lol I was out at my mailbox yesterday and I heard a car coming. I said I know what that is. They sound that unique. So I waited and sure enough a fox body 5.0 drove right past me. That exhaust sound is pure bliss.
Always liked the Foxbody, when I finished High School in 1997, those cars were very popular in NorCal and I always wanted one but didn't have the means.
The best stangs ever the fox's !!! I love all mine! I got me a fresh 93 cobra fox with x82000 miles on it just last week to add to my collection love em fun to drive easy to work on and sound is different than any car made you can close your eyes and know a fox
I love my '95 GT 'vert, but this REALLY makes me miss my '87 LX! Wish I had room for another Mustang... or three.... or four.... And yes, the 2-chamber Flowmaster abounds!
i had 4 foxbodys so far 93 gt 88 gt 90 gt parts car for my 88 ( ex-wife car) an a 92 gt part car for my 93 gt i do miss my 5.0's , what ya'll thing of the newer 5.0's ? i'm workin on gettin aother 90-93 5.0 i just havn't find one i like .
I've got a '69 Mach 1 and I am wondering what would happen if I put a 2.5 litre v8 in it because I really don't have the space for it, but I can't get it in there right now and I at least need to know if it's possible ASAP
lol anyone else's hatch foxbody's hatch not close properly due to horsepower? My driver door and hatch don't want to open or close at all, they'll latch but they're still sloppy lol I really need subframe connectors...
where are the 94-98? 99-04? 05-10? 11-14? Why do Mustang guys only stick to their own kind, I would have loved to have seen a v6 Mustang roll through, or a GT.....seems to me like fox guys stick with fox owners, cobra owner Alienate them selves from gt's and v6's. im just ranting, but none the less sick video, the sounds are awesome!
I enjoyed this video but who ever made those rules up are kind of dumb imo. Just think of how much more enjoyable this cruise would have been if there was variety.
