A lot of love was put into this ^_^. my first introduction to resident evil was thanks to marvel vs capcom 2 with jill being playable and i mained chris back in marvel vs capcom 3. My younger brother loves the resident evil and i do love the references put in the stages marvel vs capcom 3 implemented there
Wow having MVC2 being your intro to the resident evil series is one of the main reasons why I love crossovers! It gives people the opportunity to be exposed to other characters and franchises they wouldn't be exposed to normally!
Good analysis. There's a mod called "UMVC3Hook" that grants camera control. I can't speak for how user-friendly it is, but it would be useful for discussing more of the game's stages, particularly with the vertical elements.
Thank you! I’ve actually been tinkering with that mod very recently and it’s definitely a little finicky but I agree I think it would still be more beneficial in the long run to get those higher camera angles
as a fan of the series i often overlook the stages the marvel vs capcom series features but you showed a lot of details i did not knew before thanks for exploring and explaining the stages in this video
i love marvel 3 so covering fighting game stages from that is great to watch i played RE 5 a lot so its good to see someone covering the details most dont see ada for marvel 4 would be nice and leon too for the next game
I agree Ada ever being in a Vs game I feel is a very slim chance. Also Leon is way overdue to appear in some kind of fighting game but hey maybe someday 🥲
I really like the videos from this channel. I would love to see in the future, if you are interessed in do it, a video about the stages from MVC2 and how different they are if compared with the stages of the other MVC games... like, I am not sure if the stages in that game are based in anything at all.
Its great idea! I do certainly plan on doing MVC2 and talk about how their all not based on any specific game and the thread that connects them all. I absolutly got a lot ot say about those stages!
Awesome Video. I heard that Leon and a Tyrant Character (either Mr X or Nemesis) were going to appear in TvC but were cut due to time constraints which is a shame as I'd like to see Leon in one of the Capcom vs games one day. I'm glad you mentioned PlayStation All Stars Stages cause they are pretty creative (I remember creating my own stage ideas for various characters who didn't have a stage i.e. Issac, Heihachi, etc.). I feel that the key to successful stage crossovers is that they should contrast with each other i.e. Medievil x The Unfinished Swan or Ape Escape x Resistance.
I hear about Leon being cut from TvC, but not Mr X! That would have been incredible to even have just one of those two Also I feel PS all stars gets a bad rap I loved that it embraces its crossover by merging stages. If they had been given the time I wish there was a proper dead space/tekken stage in there
@@baberuthless the fact that there was no Tekken stage always confused me since Tekken has a ton of memorable stages. I think the Hall of Judgement Heihachi’s Tekken Tag 2 Stage could have worked well
@@MysterioGyllenhaal19 oooo Hall of judgment is an excellent choice! They could have had that for Tekken and have dead space necromorphes or DMC demons invade the stage after wards perhaps?
@@baberuthless I was thinking of combining the Hall of Judgement with True Ogre's Stage. So like Tekken Tag 2 Hall of Judgement would have the stage break element with the ground randomly breaking within the match until we get to True Ogre's Stage where he is seen fighting the final Boss from Heavenly Sword.

Okay, when I was watching this video I was not expecting to hear a PASBR reference, and what more surprised me was that it wasn't sh- ing on the game? it's a Christmas miracle, (Yeah I love PASBR and I do not care if people think it sucks, the good outweighs the bad imho) this video actually gave me an idea for an RE stage for that game, it's basically Tricell Labs but instead of B.O.W's in the tanks it's the chimera's from the Resistance series, and then they break out, and then the army comes in and kills all the chimera's and blows up the lab, basically turning into the Chaos at Tricell version and making the stage a bit bigger, I could honestly make a video series about making new PASBR stages. And to comment on the stages in the video, Tricell labs and Chaos at Tricell are probably my second and third favorite stages in the game, (My first fave is Days of Future Past) and why are there even story exclusive stages to begin with? why can we not play on these normally? heck, you unlock more stages by playing the story more through, why can't we just unlock them after we get past the fight in story mode? it's not like breaking continuity is important, heck the Dark Dimension stage still has the symbiote in the back in versus mode so it's not like they already don't do that. (Dang that's a lot of text... also PASBR stages explained when? /j Bobthepetferret does already kind of have that covered)
Glad you liked the Playstation allstars stage mashups. I know its not a stage but do you think someday you could talk about chris theme in MVC3 I'm curious to see what you'll discover cause i don't know where it's from.
Haha you and me both, I remember thinking it was a weird remix of the RE5 mercenaries theme but since his infinite version sounds more like a blatant remix now I have no clue where that song originates from 😅
I don't play Resident Evil, so the stages based on those games are my one of the least favorites. Although the merge of Marvel's and Capcom's worlds was a unique concept in MVCI, unfortunately the stages didn't reflect this as each of them are bland and empty. There's no telling if Marvel and Capcom will collaborate again for a new MVC game, but at least we got fans involved in a MVC game project that brings new life.
I do overall agree MVCi was very dissapointing in terms of lack of style and roster and i truly hope there is a nother game some day so the series can redeem itself. That being said i do enjoy the gameplay in MVCi alot
