Get your bottles of Wash & Go here: amzn.to/3VAT9Of #Ad The Irish Guy predicts the outcome of Sunday's World Cup final between France and Argentina, featuring the superstar clash between Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.
Messi's chances, huh? Not like the other players or anything. Just only Messi... Exactly my whole problem with what this 'show' that's supposed to be a sport has become. There's a whole team of Argentina, you do know that, right? Most of which put WAY more effort and passion in their play than Lazzi
@@HIPsteHeeromessi’s assist to alvarez in the croatia game was brilliant. But other than that he did absolutely nothing but being a pen merchant. Let’s be honest
1950 - Uruguay were the underdog against Brazil 1954 - West Germany were absolutely the underdogs against Hungary. 1974 - West Germany were the underdogs against the Netherlands. 1982 - Most predicted West Germany to win, but Italy won it in the end. 2006 - Italy were not really an underdog but France were slightly considered the favourite for the final against Italy. (Neither Italy or France were pre-tournament favourites)
Uruguay were so big underdogs that Brazil media had already made headlines for Brazil win and medals were made for their win. Germany defeated teams which are regarded as 2 of the greatest international sides in football of history All 3 were massive upsets
I should note that Irish Guy was wrong on that France never put back to back good showings at world cups. In 1982 and 1986, they made back to back semi-finals apparences
In 2015/16 Chile actually had a really good team. They were no where near average. It would obviously still be heartbreaking to lose 3 finals in a row though regardless of competition
The only predictions Irish guy gets right are the ones where Ireland is involved. I hope they make it to a tournament in the near future just to see Irish Guy‘s reactions.
As someone who's grown up in the era of Messi and Ronaldo, I would love to see Messi end his international career by lifting the WC trophy. Would've been even nicer if it was a Messi v Ronaldo final but at least I got to witness history as Morocco became the first African nation to reach the tournament's semi-finals.
1:35 well, France is the birthplace of the World Cup, the Euros, the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or, not to mention that football became an Olympic sport in Paris 1900. They would have all the rights to be a footballing king
Remember that Irish Guy video "Argentina are absolute bottlers" when Saudi Arabia won? I have a theory based on a feeling I had after that video, I even commented something like "Imagine if Argentina wins the WC after this" What if his curse on that video worked in favor of Argentina and it may give them the title in the very end... Or until the final with France winning? Here comes his prediction from this video: what if it actually ruins Argentina's hopes and nullifies that reversed curse from the bottlers' video. It's like his curses/jinxes will be fighting against each other to see who'll win
Now, you just need to predict on the progress, of another channels run of mine wrong. Like with a majority of predictions. Then we’ll be on easy street lol. As for the final, it depends if Messi is in form or not.
only two countries have won back to back World cups Italy in 1934 and 38 with Guiseppe Meazza (who San Siro is named after) as their captain and Brazil in 1958 and 62
Didn’t you say in semis prediction vid that you’d eat pudding off the underside of your shoe after jumping in a puddle of snow if we got an Argentina France final
The main difference this time around is this Argentina's team is willing to give their life to Messi. They've shown in it the KO stages of this World Cup. I ain't counting them out.
I hope France win it, can’t be arsed with the Messi narrative. The man’s a legend and a team player but the media make everything about him, it’s boring. If he has a shit, it’s the best shit anyone’s ever taken. Sky sports called his assist for Alvarez’s goal as outrageous! If Argentina win it, it’s because of Messi, even if he doesn’t play. It’s ridiculous
@@dancostello4872 you’re right with that, what was the penalty against Poland for, the keeper touched his face ever so slightly. It wouldn’t have been awarded to another player. Absolute legend, no doubt. But he’s nothing without ten players on the pitch with him, I wish the media would give the team some credit. Alvarez has scored four, Messi hasn’t carried them to the final
To be fair Messi isn’t about himself though Also why are getting triggered others like seriously? Last thing is this isn’t about your irrelevant opinion here , it’s bigger then you
@@samprizeman4509 No offense but surely you aren’t stupid enough to think this isn’t a team sport, like seriously?! Messi has always talked about his team or teammates all the time , he gives them credit This final is more then just 2 players you know , everyone knows that so why don’t you ?
They were immune because of that. Just like Brazil was immune in 2006 because they already had it all the way back in 1966. Italy on the other hand had it twice since they were already out on the groups in 1950
We're doomed. Irish guy picked us to win. Well France, congratulations and at the very least i'll enjoy Irish guy going to the Eiffel Tower to beg forgiveness.
