I did the same thing I thought she was happier but later found out she wasn’t.. I put together a plan to not use social media to spy on her because I knew she was angry and wanted to hurt me. I simply used the radio silence technique and stopped looking at her Facebook and all the mistakes I was doing went away. I started focusing on my happiness and now she is texting me first and calling me first but I keep the conversation short because I filled my life with new activities and a new job..

I know exactly what you’re talking about are used to know my ex to her core like when she’s angry, happy, sad, scared and excited but no I don’t recognize her anymore if I bumped into her in the street I wouldn’t even know how to speak to her my heart would be pounding Iike a drum and I would just stay there frozen because I wouldn’t be looking at my girl who a had a six year relationship with ,I’d be looking at a completely different woman :/ It breaks my heart to know that she’s happier without me

I understand and feel the same. My ex was reserved when I first met her. Over the years, I brought her out of her shell. I lost myself in the relationship and she actually used me to further her career. I've been doing the NC for about 2 months (out of an 8 year relationship) but it is hard when we work together. In the end, I am leaving my job to further myself in another industry. I would recommend the No Contact time to revamp yourself (it is rough, and it will be rougher if you keep your ex open on any social media platform). Yes, you are deciding in life but that is where you are in control. You will feel used and squeezed dry like I do but rehydrate and keep moving. I believe you can do it.

My wife left me ~3 months ago. Since then she says she's happy. We see each other every 1-2 weeks, and when I see her, she doesn't seem happy. She seems down. She is definitely cold and distant towards me. Says she's not attracted to me and all of that. I just tell myself not to believe these things. I want her to be happy. I need to let her go. If she was my girlfriend, no problem. But she's my wife. She thinks divorce will solve all her problems. Me? I'm leveling up as a man. Getting closer to God and buying a new townhouse, amongst other things. I'm becoming the man I want to be. Maybe she'll come back? I pray for it, I love her.

everything you guys said is so true ,especially that bit about social media, it's so fake and false, they will never post a selfie of them depressed or sad or crying, they will only posts selfies if them being out and appear happy when in actual fact they are gutted I'm the inside

You guys have helped me so much, theres real truth in what you say and it's the stuff of life, not just getting your ex back. Which is the important thing. You have helped me do a complete 180. I was so needy and so clingy, in an short lived 2 month relationship. And I see so clearly now why it didnt work out. It really really helped me to accept that not only was i not making her happy, she was actually UNhappy being with me. When I realized that and accepted it, it made the hurt go away, realizing that I am just happy that shes happy. I don't have to be the one. If I screwed it up, then I'm glad she broke up with me so I could finally realize what I need to change on my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you guys.

This video was very helpful! My ex was "validating" on social media saying how happy she is I haven't checked in a few weeks. Still in nc, focusing on me, going to the gym, reading, and working on my sobriety which was a big thing in the relationship she's got a year clean on me so she kinda had doubts I was going to take the steps to do that she was tired of empty promises. Started nc a few days ago after begging and acting like that, but during that time she said I need to focus on myself and not us right now, that I'm still the only person she would ever marry and have kids with, trying to stay positive just so recent it's hard. These vidoes help thanks alot, and advice is welcome.

Well I wasn’t exactly a good boyfriend to her, needy, clingy, asking her to reply quicker, often getting into arguments because of it, before the end of the relationship, I was neglecting her, not trying to keep up the spark in the relationship, and I let it wither. She then met another suave and confident dude who makes her really happy now. I was jealous about how happy she is and how sad of a state I am in. And I kept trying to call her to ask for reasons. Thank you for this, it really opened up another door in my heart to find forgiveness for myself, for her and really want her to be happy.

yesterday my ex and i went out to dinner..we spoke about everything including our relationship,she told me she doesn't really miss me like that,she also said that she doesn't see the same future she used to for us for now..she did agree that we can hang out go out our daughters can see eachother,i still believe her feelings for me our there and i told her that she didn't say anything,all i can do is continue to change and hope for the best at this point..i told her im hoping against hope and ima keep hoping till the end cuz we agreed that we gonna stay in eachothers life..she said not to expect things to be like they used to and thats fine as long as shes in my life im ok with that for now

Thank you Adrian n Alex.Advise is great.Its been over 5 months now and we have called or text each other at all.I was lifting my weights at gym.I was crying alot.I still miss my love and I still love her.Probably why I still said.Sure she happy and moved on, cause she dumped me..Really happy for her.😞

Love Advice TV thank you coach steven.. because he told me so. and he post on social medias, but that was then right after our break up i was so down and not doing anything but now i do my thing and he is reaching out also but i dont know what is he feeling. i just cant help it, i miss him so much but i just dont react to anything that can make me less attrated to him

coach alex and coach adrian, my ex gf started to notify me during no contact few days ago, and then she want to inform that she grows a lot and can do things she want, and happier than before she also said that she didnt even notice that we break a month ago since she was busy and enjoying her job. and those words hit me so hard , we end our 5yrs relationship :( last month and the only reason she said is she was already tired in our relationship

Ive been focusing on all of my lifes attributes. Improving myself little by little and doing great. but still find myself getting reminders of my ex. And the feeling of wanting to be with her again. She has been with someone new for about 3 months and seems happier than ever. I dont know if i should re-establish contact with her to start something new but feel as if her new relationship is going to be a barrier

My ex was trying to get back with me for four months after the breakup but I just didn't feel like I was ready. I wanted to get bscl together but when we were both ready to make a fresh start. When I contacted her a month ago, she told me she had changed her thoughts about me and she doesn't love me or need me in her life and that she is happy now. I was always seeing her posting pictures of her going out, surrounded by other guys and always seemed to enjoy her life. I even found out she had kissed amother guy during her vacation. It really breaks my heart, seeing her change like this and knowing that I am not part of her life anymore, I really want her back but I am so confused and don't know what to do, someone please help me!!

He isn’t projecting the relationship, rather hiding it but close friends have shown me the comments he is making to her and he’s spending a lot of time with her? Hannah Louise its really tough to say. My ex and I have been together for almost 4 years and she's with someone else now. Its been almost 5 months and she tells me she's extremely happy. She tells me that she wants to keep me in her life but it shouldn't be because of her new relationship. She doesn't want to ruin it. Though she still sees me here and there. I've done what I can do get her back but to no avail its unsuccessful. I should definitely just let her be. If we're meant to be then it'll happen. My door is still not closed.

Hello Coaches, I am going to be leaving the country my ex girlfriend lives. She broke up with me 10 months ago. the biggest reason for the breakup was culture differences and her mothers dislike for foreigners. After the breakup I did some things I am not proud of, like going to job with flowers, her house with flowers, and other things that scared her. She ended up blocking me on everything and cutting off all communication with me in October. She told a friend of mine she has moved on with her life this February. I had hoped the time spent without communication these last couple of months would heal her, so I wrote a letter explaining how I still felt and the decisions I regretted making while we were together. I had a acquaintance give her the letter last week. Unfortunately, I leave this weekend and still have not heard anything from her. I am leaving the country to finish my degree for med school. How can I reconnect with her if I am in a different country with no way to message her, or meet?

I think it's more hurtful to see my ex hurting and unhappy after the break up because they would rather feel these things than give anymore effort to be in the relationship. Besides, we all need breaks and independence. If anything, it should be seen as inspiration and add value to see our ex is capable of being so happy. It proves they still have a lot more to give if you are to start a new and improved relationship with that person.

Me and my ex shares same friend circle. She is always smiling and stay happy with them, but when I come around she always felt annoyed and irritated. when I and my ex are alone she doesn't even talk to me and when I say something she doesn't like and sometimes doesn't even respond.

My husband left because he said he was unhappy. At first it was because of finances and stress of young kids. When I tried to push back and fix the marriage he came out with the I love you but I’m not in love with you anymore. He said that he was sick of snapping at the kids constantly which I agree with you was doing the last few months where he used to play and do things with him he stopped.Now that he has left he is taking them golfing and bike riding and he seems to be really engaging with them now when I’m not around and I just want to know if that means he really is happier without me

he left me 3 weeks ago. our mutual friends tell me he doesn't seem any less happy or more happy. just normal like I'm not even missing from his life. he broke up with me and i tried to fight for it and from that day on we have had no contact. i don't know if he feels free without me or he can still see me in his future because i know he was the one... i don't know if i should keep posting things or go radio silence now... he is very stubborn so I'm afraid he won't ever reach out first because of that. however i don't want to be the one to contact him first because he is the one that gave up.

Just do no contact, I'm doing it right now. It hurts really bad because i was going back for him but not to date but to tell him im sorry because i felt that i was the wrong one. I'm trying to let go of the hate i feel for him but i know that he's talking to someone else to forget about me but i know he'll regret it now that I'm not talking to him anymore. He came back before but 10 months later. You have to let it go, he will hurt, he will see what he did was wrong, don't give him another chance to hurt you. He's going to come back sooner or later because my ex is stubborn and i know he'll come back but when he does i won't allow him to ruin my happiness again. You should do the same, you deserve better. Be happy, live show him what he gave up on and don't say one word to him so he can feel that you're no longer his go to person

He seems so happy it's been almost 3 month when he broke up with me and since 3 weeks we went into no contact during that 3 weeks he contacted me 3 times but not to get back toghter and not to ask how I have been doing.I wrote him one time bevor I went into full silent but just to ask something and that was a mistake.... Because he wanted to make me jealous. Now I went into full radio silence I delete my instagram app to not stalk his social media and til I went into full silence we watched each other's Instagram story and we didn't follow each other he seemed so happy sometimes but sometimes I saw that he was a bit sad (we got class next to each other once a week and one time I looked at him and he seemed sad). But now he seems happy again like in the beginning of no contact... In the beginning when we didn't write he was like happy then postet pics with sad quotes now he seems happy again. I want 3 days ago into full Silent I know it's not so long ago but. What should I do? Did I do the right thing in going to full silent?...

But I don’t get it we were engaged and she was telling me I was her person and our love would last forever and then broke up with me that night after saying all that. She just broke up with me last month and has texted me one time saying she was thinking about me and then blocked me on everything again. I realized I dont want her anymore. She is so narcissitic and used me for her own gains and when I got drained she ditched me and was happy immediately about it. What a relief that I really found it out about a month later of trying to make it work when she said it was all my fault. Lmao not in the slightest. Good riddance and good luck to you out there. Make sure they are actually worth a damn. Mine turned all my friends against me saying I was verbally abusive to her. So now I get dirty looks. Lmao okay

My ex wants me to bring his belongings to his work when I told him to pick it up..He tells me that I'm not to come to his work after that.He says he's happy for me cause I'm starting to see other people.Im feeling angry and like he refuses to accept my apologies and willingness to work on my areas..He has his share of issues also but I tried to pick my battles..Follow my heart, fight for him and I'm just causing myself more hurt by giving time and energy to someone who doesn't see my worth.He can't frickin come get his shit..he's 30 and I'm 43. 4 years and he breaks up with me because of a few immature things I did and he withdrew his affection and was withdrawn for 2 to 4 weeks before breaking up.He told me I came off motherly ..a few times unintentionally in 4 years and that in some ways I'm paying for some of his exes mistakes. I've felt rejected and am grieving still but he acts fine .I asked him if he is done for good with no possibility of getting together again..He has had secrets and felt he only needed to share them with his therapist..So I decided I'm going to get a full report on him and his family through TRUTH FINDER.COM I need to know if his background has something that he hid from me

And he says he lost his desire for me...How can someone you deeply love and have a connection with just decide to withdraw and not communicate and be cold and deprive me of affection for weeks before dumping me? Why is he breaking my heart and causing me such anguish..to the point of physically feeling like My heart is being crushed..I ruined the no contact rule and disrespected his wishes so that screwed up any potential because I acted ,talked , and texted out of emotions I feel like I hate him and love him both..its like a slap in the face!

Can you make a video about the opposite. Let's say your ex broke up with you and they are unhappy. In fact it seems they are going through a depression or maybe a midlife crises. They are doing things that they typically wouldn't do. Acting out of character. And they are distancing themselves from loved ones. They also are involved in a rebound relationship where they are trying to escape from their problems and heal from the pain.

He said that he still loves me but not 100% as before, and that his feelings toward me are not same as the beginning also (we had relationship for 2 years and he broke up with me on 8th March)

As with mid life crisis and menopause,,as a man I experienced both,,with my wife of 17 years and then a another 13 year relationship that ended,,my wife was mid life, and my ex was menopause,,,I'm sorry to tell you, there's nothing you as a man can do,,,except ride out the storm and hope the damage is not more than you can clean up,,,or live with,,,in both my cases I had to just walk away and let them have all the guilt and regret,,,and they both did..no one really wins ,mother nature has a sick sense of humor, with the hormonal changes a woman goes through..

I have been all the way close with social media of my EX. But I create a (make-up) business for her where she is too happy whatever she now with. It feels me, bad for a reason, don't she realize it's all made of me where she is doing business. With my ex I see that she is happy on social media with her mom and her family chiming in on her happiness and her glow on social media. But I don’t know if it’s a front or not but I do know she keep saying quotes like it’s my life and this what makes it or quotes like being present is a gift. Now with these type of quotes I believe she isn’t happy but she saying Those things for attention to Express how happy she is to the world. Hi my situation is little different. Im woman and my ex is also woman. We have been together for over year. She never felt this way before, and i know she loved me with all her heart. But she dumped me for guy, who she met at work. When she moved out from my place, this guy went live with her as well. But since then, its been 6 months, she was in contact me always saying then she is not happy, where she is. That she loves me, but need time to think, what she want. She said she is scared. But when she gives me hope, she backs off again and again... This guy is jealous of me, even threatened me to leave her alone. But its her who does move and says what she feels. But everytime when he found out, that she is in contact with me, she act like she doesn't care about me. Now she blocked me everywhere because of him. I have no idea what to do. I have done all wrong thing, everytime she backs off, i do silly things, like beg, plead, and all sort of stuff... I never done no contact more then a week... But now it seems to me, that she doesn't want to have anything to do with me... She blocked me before and unnlocked, now im blocked again... Im so confused. Is he her rebound, or she now think is serious.

you know what makes it easier, look ahead of what happens. It's easier to think of it this way, atleast they are happier. Your work is done. Just be happy that they are happy, and just think that my job is done as a boyfriend/girlfriend. Now its time to be happy for yourself

I will admit it I messed up and I want to make it better. We been together a total of 15 years and of the 15 years we been married for 6 years. I know it's hard feeling miserable it sucks I hate it. I'm in the same situation and in this case I think it should be easier (once you are ready) to just walk away from your ex. Take your self respect and be the best and most happy version of yourself. That way you show your ex he didn't break you. I can imagine you feel angry, but that won't get you anywhere. Don't wait around for your ex to feel guilty or apologize, but know that you were the bigger person here. How a person acts after the break up mostly tells more about the person that how they acted during. Take care every one

Late, but the reality is that its RARE when happiness comes right after a breakup. Im sure she is sad too, misses you too, but keep in mind, this happened for a reason. Maybe this was a wake up call to work on yourself, thru yourself. You guys are both hurt. Even if you do eventually get back together, mature for yourself. Let this be a lesson.

Relax. I made the same mistake, I came back to early into no contact and felt so small. My ex was planning on getting back with me then started dating someone else before I started my no contact and yea it feels like shit. You feel like you are powerless and dying. But here look at it this way, they loved you before they met this person, this person isn't better than you. You just weren't at your best near the break. I know when I look back I know that the person at the end of the relationship wasnt the version of me who started the relationship. Just look at your life, shut that window dont pay any attention to it. Especially if he met her a week or a month or so after your break up. He will still be thinking of you, especially when he's with her, you were a huge part of this person's life. It's only over when you say it is. Give up or get up. You are bigger than this

Ofcourse they will be happier at first. Look at it like this, it's kinda like sliding down a slide, it's fun to slide down but once you hit the bottom it isn't much fun. Basically he might be happy now but its because he stole your power, he made the choice, hes the big man, you need to gain your power back. Focus on your life and come back when you're good and ready
