I hate dating. You get bitter at your exes. Or they get bitter at you. Someone is always unhappy during a breakup.

I’m still pissed after being dumped 2 months ago. What pisses me off is that she played me for 7 months towards the end of our relationship and thought I was stupid. It’s a slow healing process but I’m getting a little better each day. I’m looking forward to the day that a thought of her don’t bother me at all.

My ex has her group of friends that are probably telling her to move on and giving advise. I’m fighting against everything AND her friends

My ex would say... he manufactured a plot to get into a minor fight so he could breakup with me..... That way he could be with his girlfriend. He was very sneaky and had it all planned. This was a wonderful 7 year relationship, and we did everything together, never fought. I now have been in no contact for 8 months. Do you also think that maybe it is a matter of them being ashamed and feeling guilty for hurting you because they were so confused nor could deal with the work that they needed to do with themselves or the relationship? If you love someone that is an emotional mess and avoids communication or dealing with past hurt it takes time for them to find that self-love, but they have to before they can ever attempt to love you. I have also found that media is such a ridiculous illusion and many situations are not what they seem. But as Craig and Margaret suggest, just work on you and live your life and what is to be will be or you will find better.

I came across my ex on Tinder. Boy that stung. My anxiety was triggered for a few moments but I slowly calm down and regained my focus. My ex broke my no contact today. She wanted to return some of my things. when i suggested she could drop them over and if i wasnt there my son would be she seemed to get really upset and threatened to leave them on the street. i was surprised at the anger. i made some light hearted comments about it and hopefully difused it for her but you would think i broke up with her or did something horrible to her. I can tell my ex is still angry, 3 weeks after he broke up with me. So a mutual friend who works with my ex told me that she went up to this friend and started saying really hurtful yet strange things about me, such as saying she hates the way I talk (I have a lisp) but I think its strange that she would randomly speak to this mutual friend about this as neither of us are particularly close to this person, we just know her through college, and also the fact she has reached out to me in person a few times means she can't hate the way I talk that much as she was deliberately coming to talk to me. My ex-lover is so angry with me now. He dumped me 3 months ago, and for 2 months I would not accept it and I kept reaching out (once in a while) and kept offering him my unconditional love. He said we should never see each other again (hard since he is my neighbour 😄). Then after the two months he did agree to meet with me again, drink coffee and go for walks. Then one day he started a fight again, none of my fault, and he walked out on me in the middle of our hike. So he might be losing me for good, and he is really the one losing, not me.

One night when we were drunk i was sexually coercive and kept pushing her for sex when she wasnt in the mood. I wasnt aggressive but I kept pleading and making moves and she did it to shut me up. There was a boy who wrote to me from time to time, we even exchanged some small gifts like audio tapes and etc. - cute little things to bring some joy in our lives. At one point he started acting strange, started to ignore me on purpose , to insert some inapropriate jokes and etc. I asked him if he wants to end our communication or has another woman in his life - I wanted all to be clear and to make the right decision for the future of both of us. He declined that he has another woman and he told me that he wants me in his life. Until one day, when he clearly said that he wants to be just friends with me. I agreed. At one point he started behaving horrible and became terribly distant. That's not friendship in my eyes. I confronted him about his behaviour , he didn't show ANY concern about how I feel, even called me mentally ill. I blocked him and since then he is really bitter. He tried to provoke me in a negative way several times, in many different ways. He spread rumors about me, contacted all the people that I told him they hate me, started supporting my competitors and etc. And finally, he announced his new relationship around my birthday date, just to make sure I suffer. Well, I didn't , but it's kinda overwhelming that someone who you thought about as your friend is acting like a total asshole and is making absolutely everything to make you feel bad. Kinda miserable on his behalf and extremely immature. I would never give him another chance to be around me. And he probably knows that - which makes him even more bitter.

A couple days after my breakup, when getting my stuff back, I asked her if there is a chance in the future to try again. She said “I don’t know” in an unsure and skeptical kinda voice. Is that really a no, or does she actually mean she doesn’t know? I then tried telling her I’d change in which she ran off at that moment, it looked like she was angry and sad and flustered and she stopped for a second as if she would say something, but rushed off. The next day I poured my heart out with a letter. It wasn’t begging her, it was apologizing and listing everything I had done. At the end I simply said “I hope you’d give me the benefit of the doubt and another chance in the future.” When I went to give her the note she gave me a cold annoyed look and hesitated to take my note, she finally took it and walked off without saying a word… her ex and his punk friends came up to her and said something and she flashed a smile kinda. We broke up April 3rd. She said she loved me but I never changed my issues and ways, and that she’ll miss everyone and that it’s over. She then blocked me without giving me a chance. Two days later she readded her ex, all the friends and apps she got rid of me for, and even the guy that she said she saw more potential in me, over him, because he wouldn’t make a move or anything. Then that same kid followed me on Instagram and I’m not even sure why. She doesn’t even stalk my stuff, and made tik toks about being bored, and how “when love don’t change, love is poison (a song), plays within me”. This just hurts. I had a chance to fix my ways in a breakup back in January, and I did, but it was temporary. We got into an argument one Friday and she said she didn’t wanna talk the rest of the night and that she’d text me the next day. Her friend was present and probably influenced her decision. She finally texted me and that’s when she broke up with me.

My ex (2 months since breakup but 5 weeks into NC) just called today after I spoke to her mom last week. My case is the other way around, she was very kind at the breakup and today she was very mad. At the breakup she told me I was "perfect", i suppose it was because of guilt, but now she said all the bad things I did wrong and I felt pretty bad haha, I managed to stay cool, apologized and told her im working on all those bad things about me and that if she ever change her mind to give me a call but she said she would never get back to me, even if she starts to doubt she would prefer going to therapy than getting back together. I always thought I was a good bf but seems like i wasn't. she never felt emotionally secure because I always told her "you are over reacting" or "not this topic again" and that kind of stuff. Seems like im an avoidant. Also we never got engaged after 12 years of relationship. I will begin no contact again, and work on all those things. I hope this gives the closure I was looking for because at the breakup she told me i was "perfect" and made no sense at all. Now that I really know the reasons, and will work on them, I hope I can move on. Still hoping she can give me another chance but will focus on moving on.
