Yes what they don't think of though is think of the tarnish its putting on God's name by continuing to not report matters to the police. One of the primary reasons I could no longer associate is I could no longer be part of a lie. The sad part about all of this is many witnesses are completely unaware this is even going on.

Yes it makes no sense at all, a crime is a crime so if a witness for example went out and robbed a bank would the elders keep that from the police too because it may bring reproach upon Gods name? So calls into question any crime that an active witness commits are the WT and GB only worried about the reproach it brings?

right and that's how you know they don't walk with the true God and his son. Many of them will be so disappointed when Jesus returns. so disappointed

Regarding my other comments, I remember my mom years ago telling me about a sister who was so mistreated in her congregation that the Circuit Servant (old school term) had to intervene and get the sisters publishers card and relocate her to another congregation for safety and security reasons so she can continue to worship without harassment. When you hear these experiences, ask your self some questions; What words of encouragement could I give them? Why were these things done to them and for what reason? I would like to encourage you to tell folks to also study their history both biblical and secular and you will see how it relates, because, after all, doesn't history repeats itself JT and CT? Please give me the correct quote. Very good expression. There is another expression that says " A person who takes good advise is greater than the one who gave it". And so I took your advice and I seen and heard some of these other experiences. I always ask people, what's the first thing you do before you cross the street? So why not apply that same principle when listening to the facts of a matter? Six people taught me very well in life and my career. Their names are; WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN WHY AND HOW If you're given a front story, there is always a back story. By seeking both sides of a story, it helped me to have a more clear, fair, balanced and unbiased perspective on this sensitive topic. By doing that, it stops Paranoia, hysteria, but promotes reasonability and sensibility.

It was an Elder who said that to her. I couldn't believe how they completely ignored this sisters bruises and went right to her punishment. I was so disgusted and I instantly felt unsafe. I knew that if anything happened to me I would be the focus and not the brother who committed the crime.

She was 14 and they were bothering her about a skirt that went to her CALF! 😳 And had her in the back dungeon room, when I saw her come out crying and confused, I went crazy on them. But is that a JW issue or a Bible issue. Have you ever asked the same question to a Baptist, Pentecostal, etc? Because they all use the Bible too and therefore the teachings about Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark, Moses, etc will all be the same across all those religions.
