Ms. Helen, You don't realize what a blessing you are to me. Last year my husband was diagnosed with throat Cancer, then my father passed away from a terrible fall. He was 92, My Mother 82 was diagnosed with dementia last year also. Then I was diagnosed with Breast cancer Early this year. I stumbled on your Video's looking for some peace to take my worries away, and there you were. ❤ Your blessings, your wonderful laugh, your beautiful stories all put a smile in my heart.. Because of you, I got up brushed myself off and started making Art projects to keep myself busy. My husband and myself are now cancer free, and your Video's have been and still are a blessing to us. I love your fish pond, the fish 🐟 Your pot was Beautiful. I bet your prayer shawls are beautiful also. When I woke up from my surgery a nurse came in and handed me a pillow in the shape of a heart made by a local church ⛪ for prayers with my healing 🙏 I held on to that pillow for dear life. With Covid and visiting not allowed, I had to face all this alone, But with your Video's and that prayer pillow, I didn't feel so alone. Thank you for all the blessings you give everyone. You got me through some ruff times, and I look forward to your Video's so much. Blessing to you and your Beautiful family. ❤

I love the fact you didn't throw it away ...it's easy to give up...you made this interesting by fixing it and showing everyone that somethings are worth fixing and they come out more beautiful then they would have been in the first place ! Great job and I love it and it came out awesome!

It turned out great! Do you know the little ding “He’s Still Working On Me”? God is still working in our lives just like you had to keep working on that pot. Even after it broke, you were able to work on it and repair it. Look at it now!❤️😊

Dear Helen, Your project would release when you put oil on the outside of that metal inside thingamajig. No need for a bag ! Hot water helps to release too. Love the texture the bag leaves on the mortar, so you could still use the bag and grease it. We use chain saw oil. Cher and Dave from New Mexico 😘

I love the bluebird cup. It's so nice to wake up and find your video as I drink my coffee. I've got 3 grandbabies now. The Lord has blessed me so much. I've been really busy with the house getting it ready. I have painted everything and gave my whole house a facelift,, by myself. That's what I do. I love your ideas and crafts. If you ever get tired of crafting, start a channel of your life. I'd watch it everyday... I just love you. An angel from heaven living on Earth, teaching us how to work with cement,,, go figure.. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. Especially since you have a new great granddaughter to celebrate with.. You can fix anything. You turned this around and it's beautiful as usual... Oh as PS. My mother, my mother-in-law, my daughter-in-law, one of my sons,, myself, and 2 of my grandbabies have red hair.. proud of it too..... Love you!!!!!!!

Hi Helen! I haven’t written in a while. I have to tell you how much I delighted in seeing your pond up close! I have a little koi pond that I dug myself and it’s very amateur but I sure get a lot of enjoyment from it. Please don’t worry about algae or moss, that’s fish food and hiding places for baby fish. I could sit by your pond for hours! I’ve had some of my sweetest prayer times sitting by my pond. My goodness what a time that pit gave you but you just taught me more by repairing it and not giving up than if it had come out perfect the first time! Thank you for your videos, you are such a delight. You’re so good for the soul, just by your loving witness. God bless you and I’ll be looking forward to seeing you again!

I was reminded yesterday here in MN to spray snow shovels and the blades & casing of our snowthrowers with Silicone spray to have the snow not stick. Oh my goodness!!! What is wrong with saying my red headed great grandson. You have a beautiful family and I see that whole live episode and you did nothing but show your pride in your family. You red haired great grandson was a smart and charming young man. Anyone who acts like that seems to be saying there is something wrong with people with red hair. That young man is obviously cute and smart and loving and anyone who says he’s not is just evil! It truly is disturbing that someone would attack you over your interaction with YOUR OWN family who all seems to be great people. Shame on those people who make negative comments. I’m sure they wish they had a lovely and loving family like you do. When we get together as a family there are FOUR of us. 4!! So having a large family is a blessing and the interaction clearly was loving. So please don’t let the ugly evil that is growing in some people in our country.

Love watching your videos Helen and you did a great job of salvaging your pot. I've been watching a few videos online recently as I'd like to make some hypertufa pots. For those wondering, the reason Helen had so much trouble removing the metal insert is because of the welded seam around the bottom which you can see at 29.33 in the video when she finally gets it out - this is enough to make the cement grab. I've seen another video where they had the same issues with a slightly ribbed metal insert pot and they also had to destroy the insert metal tin to remove it but theirs wasn't as deep as Helen's.

PATCHES would be a good name for your pot. I think it turned out nice and rustic looking. If you decide to paint it, consider a paint WASH....water down acrylic paint, put on with a sponge, to get into the crevices, then wipe down the high parts to expose the beauty of it. Otherwise it's perfect as is! Have a blessed Christmas Helen Wyatt 🙏⛪🎅⛄🌲☃️

Wonder what kind of fish those are... your pink crochet table cover is beautiful! I'm looking at all the nice texture on the outside of your cement pot and you are covering it up! With a different texture! LOL! It looks great! Very organic looking. I love it. You truly made it work in spite of the problems (that's life) and it came out so nice with the Christmas flowers & bows. Thanks! I enjoyed watching.
