I am an asian and I am overweight. I was considered too big in my own country, China. I have always heard boys telling me "if you lose some weights, I will pursue you." in my 20s. My mom and my dad, my asian ex-boyfriend, and even his mom, kept asking me to get slimer. It's hard for me to buy clothes there, no beautiful dresses would fit me. But after I moved to the U.S., I am actually considered average-sized here, if not small. And now I have been with my fiancee, who is white, for 8 years. When he told me he was interested in me, I was truly shocked. I am glad I met him tho, coz he helped boost my confidence a lot. Everyday now I still think I am fat, but he would tell me I am pretty, at least enough for him.

As a biracial women I wasn’t the standard of beauty in WA state, but when I moved to NC at age 16 I definitely was. I remember feeling overwhelmed at all my options because up until the day I moved to NC, I truly believed in my core that I was ugly. That couldn’t of been further from the truth.

😮 I can’t believe you just made this video! I told a friend yesterday that character and full spectrum wise, I view myself as an 8. But when I act insecure and needy It makes me come across as a 3. Beauty is one thing, but it's how you carry yourself that is more important. You have to treat yourself as the prize and not care about what a man thinks. Men are attracted to women who are confident and who are financially and emotionally stable. Also, it is important to not sleep with any man too soon. Most men will not respect a woman who sleeps with him too soon. Another problem in the USA is this twerking dance. No decent man will make you his woman if you're out there twerking in public at clubs, etc. I had this conversation with my coworker. She told me that she thought that there is nothing wrong with twerking and that it was very popular. She also said that she would like to be in a relationship with a professional (i.e. lawyer, doctor). i’ll tell you one thing, it’s also not easy to be a pretty girl. Sometimes men or people just like you because you look good and their not being genuine. I am not saying I’m too good looking but the experience of being pretty, sexy, intelligent, with self confident is also sometimes traumatic. You don’t know who’s real to you or only want to use you as a trophy. To my fellow women here, just know your worth and be wise choosing your partner, not end of the world if you don’t find the right one. It’s also nice to be single 😅

Beauty is subjective above some point of objective beauty. For example, for one man Angelina Jolie is 10/10, for another, she is 8/10. But none of them woluld ever say, that she is not beautiful. On the other hand, if a woman is under average of objective beauty (for sure me), or she is simply ugly (probaby me), most man (90%) won't consider her beautiful.

😀 I have to join the discussion : I imagine you being really beautiful - kind of beauty that easily gets damaged with wrong thaughts and low lifestyle ( I'm not being mean, most vulnerable women are like that, I am the same - if I don't sleep well or don't work out or feel bad - I don't glow !
