Bob Wells nursery in TX has the only place I know of to get muscadines period. They are also a super back up to isons nursery/vineyard but no Darlene's or Bronze Carlos which I have from Willis Orchards in Cartersville Ga by you and took cuttings on all Muscadines I got and are rooting in a bio dome for just two weeks and they are growing fast and rooting faster than outside by far. I do lots of cuttings/clones an all plants I want to propagate

Wow that's a ton of plants 👍... It's to early for me to get what I plant, I don't have anywhere to do seed starts. I'm just going to have to keep my fingers crossed that I can find plants when the time comes 🤞

Processed 7 roosters this afternoon. I may or may not hatch out more chicks to raise for meat. They are some that I hatched, will get a weight on them when we bag them up tomorrow. Felt like they weighed 10 lbs!!!
We got our apple trees from Ison's. I'm thinking about getting couple more from them next year. I got my pepper seeds started this week and I'm aiming for my tomatoes in a week or two. I think I'm set on seeds, luckily. - Alex
Stumbled onto your channel trying to find muscadine trellis info. I just received my muscadines, blackberries, and Asian pears from Ison’s. I hope you’ll do some videos picking, tasting, and describing muscadines and other fruits in the future.

Thanks for the info on Ison's nursery, I'm going to see what they have that can be shipped to So.Ca. cuz many nurserys are saying "can't be shiped to California" I don't know why but that's what I've been running into. Try hand printing the words "Hand Stamp" on the packages. I worked for Videl Sassoon's co. Years ago running the UPS shipping and receiving Dept. One thing I did was run a Pitney Bows labeling machine so I know how it can tear up packages that are not completely flat on the surface being labeled. By printing hand stamp it bypasses that procedure and the label is put on by hand. Thus avoiding the packages being torn up by the forced high speed machines. 😉
Yeah I order all my seed from Johnnys and they are out of many types and my order has slowly been trickling in with back orders. Any reason why you use potted vines over bare root? Guessing cause you can store them longer if needed? I planted 4 vines from Isons last Sunday.

I give em 1 scoop. They forage for the rest. Occasionally I fill feeder tube inside the coop with protein pellets. They like pigs, they will eat all day lol
I was browsing their website looking for some replacement muscadine’s. Would like to have some for making wine, I was actually looking at the seedless ones. What would be in your opinion the best red or white grapes for wine production
I will give you my 3. White wine, Carlos. Red would be seedless fry, and ison. The fry will make a beautiful pink wine that is crazy good. The Ison will be dark maroon and a lot stronger
@@KinfolkFarmofGeorgia so I order and received my Ison’s order , got the Carlos and the seedless fry. Since I live in a residential area I don’t have a lot of space especially with the tropical fruit trees and garden and a secret chicken coop lol, anyway only got 1 of each for now,since they take 20’ per plant. Can’t wait to get some grapes and hopefully be able to make some small batches of wine. Would 3 T post be a good way to set up just a couple plants do you think?
I guess if you order a 100 or more plants ,Isons will look out for you...I ordered two bareroot muscadine per your advice....One looks good ,one is dead all the way to the roots...Applied for warranty ..They said they credited the price of the Vine which is around $15 on my account.. first of all I could not reach my account for information I wrote down when I opened it... I reset my password. It worked for one time just long enough to get on there to see if they had credited me. They did not. I wrote another email. Never responded. I tried to get back on my account after a few days and I can't get back on my account information and my password I just changed... I don't think they intend to cover the warranty. I will not ever purchase anything else from from Isons Nurseries again. I called the number multiple times with no way to leave a voicemail... With what I was charged with shipping cost for two plants I could have bought a third one in my hometown nursery and they are sold for $15 each and in one gallon pots
That's a lot of Darlene muscadines you're planting. I had very low fruit yields with mine.
