Super cool. But... Who has electrical that close to their toilet? Otherwise I'm going to have an extension cord running across the bathroom.

Hey Paul, we get this question quite frequently; while many newer homes are having outlets installed as a new standard a lot of our customers run an extension cord to begin with after they realize they want an Omigo. Some find it less obtrusive than they first imagined and leave it, while others get an outlet installed later on. Try this: put an extension cord in your bathroom where it might have to go if you had an Omigo for a few days and see if you just can't stand it; you might see its not so bad.

“Many newer homes are having outlets installed...” Seriously?? We just built a house, and we were told NO this was not an option for us.

Might depend on the home’s builder. Our house was built in 2019 and there are outlets near each toilet. Found it kind of useless until we bought this Omigo!

@@MaryHarperhasbionicears I don't know where you live, but in the United Kingdom, the electrical code forbids electrical outlets in the bathroom. In the United States, however, electrical outlets are permitted but they must be ground fault circuit interrupter outlets if they are near a water source. The house I'm in was built in the 1940s and it has electrical outlets. The bathroom was remodeled eight years ago and the electrical outlet was made into a GFCI outlet and move to a different wall.

Why not make an 18v lithium battery supply to power it and then just recharge the battery?

I'm no engineer but I'd bet the heating elements that warm the seat, water, and butt dryer would deplete the battery quicker then gaming on a smart phone. Plus do you really want to replace the whole thing when they inevitably discontinue said battery right around the time it no longer holds a decent charge?

Just ordered an Omigo luxury. I have Crohns disease and a j pouch, plus setons. I'm tired of using toilet paper to wipe.

I have a deep well...my water is a constant 42 degrees fahrenheit...will i be rinsing my pecker, easter eggs and brown eye with that temperature or will i end up with frostbite and an iny instead of an outie ?Seriously...they come with a preheater i hope...because i'm not boiling my easter eggs with my boiler water too? Suggestions for I'm fearful.

Three warm water temperature settings, and the ceramic core heating system means the warm water is endless. The easter eggs will be at the temperature the easter bunny intended.

You know, Thailand has this everywhere and yes, much cleaner. But what they don't tell you is, how do you dry off?

I just installed one of these seats in the instructions it'll mention something this video doesn't check to see what water supply line your toilet has the T Fitting will cut off roughly 2 inches off your hose length I had a rigid hose meaning it doesn't really bend prob a 10" hose I was only able to get a 9" flex hose which was adequate enough for the job...

@@aev1977 It's in the instructions though it really should be in the video so when you install that's really the only hiccup you should run into I'd def get a flex hose so you have a little wiggle room to play with good luck...

@@istaycatchingfish2552 agree, should be in video!!! Grabbed flex hose in case, Omigo arrived in meantime. Here we go, fingers crossed it's not too challenging. Definitely concerned about having to replace that hose since it goes tightly through the floor with no access from above. Might have to be crawling under house or cutting floor. Good luck wishes appreciated!

Hah, love their idea of cleaning; wipe a dry cloth over the toilet. Also doing it without gloves. Must be a never used before toilet, lol :) On a serious note, I didn't see any protrusion sticking down. I assume it has to have the nozzle drop into the bowl area to be able to spray up to where it needs to go...? Does it retract up when not in use or something? One bidet attachment I had considered had the nozzle always down and ready for use and I was afraid I'd be spraying it with feces, sounded nasty. I didn't see a nozzle sticking down in the video, so does this avoid that issue?

The nozzles are retracted into housing when not in use!

Who the heck has an electrical outlet a foot away from them toilet? That’s why I hire elderly people to spit on my star. Much cheaper than hiring an electrician.
