Been a fan of Eric's since he was a very young man. Prison may have locked his body for a few years, but he came out 20k times the musician. He is the real deal all the rest of the guitarists in the world wish they were. He is Rock and roll come full circle. This is one of those times I feel he has finally met another musician of his same caliber... I hope to hear more from these two

I listen to this a few times a month throughout the years i find myself coming back to this always, please play this when I die, the message Eric is telling is so deep, it just gets deeper every time, those people dont know how lucky they are to have been there at the time of this, the message is so deep, play this when I die

I've always been in awe of Eric's ability to play upside down. It took me almost 3 minutes into the video to realize MonoNeon was also playing upside down. I'm blown away

Suuuuper scooped tone. All lows and highs. Basically a slap tone without slapping. You could achieve a similar tone with most active dual humbucker active basses.

They should have a concert with Eric Gales, Eugene Gales, Doyle Bramhall II, Dick Dale, Jimmy Haslip, MonoNeon, Sonny T and Scott Reader. And then they should play stuff from Otis Rush and Albert King. They could bill it as "the night of the flip over players"
