Yesterday, mine was cutting out at full throttle too. I checked the spark plug, it looked good. I was low on gas, and the filter sits pretty high in the tank. I'm hoping it was just sucking air? I added a splash of Heet to the gas in case there is some water. What size engine are you using? Mine is a 14 horse, but it's tippy because of the size.
@@allergictoasphalt11 LOL, found my answer!!! I have the 6.5 ass well, same air filter upgrade and I up jetted the carb. Had it stall on me once , same as you, but it started up shortly after sitting for a minute. thought it may have been the low oil sensor,...i have the tank vented....not sure what happened....gotta get mine to rip like yours. maybe im not getting all my rpms,...come to michigan and help me!!!
@@damonromero5396 My fuel problem was the tank wasn't venting. The right gear ratio is required to get full rpms out of the engine. On my earlier videos I didn't have enough gear and the engine couldn't get full rpms. Right now I'm at about 6:1 total gear ratio.
It is a predator 212 with jetted carb, 22# valve springs, racing header with flow through muffler, 8° timing advance. It’s been a lot of fun. Thanks for watching!
@@allergictoasphalt11 You might be right. I went bigger because I'm climbing mountain roads with heavy trapping gear. Most folks use the smaller engines and it seems to be plenty. I think mine is too big.
