Dragoș COnstantin kinda late but I think it was simply a restriction thing, many characters in movies games etc have limitations to knock blow up the area your protecting, Emil have powerful abilities but with the aliens throwing a unlimited amount of machines he couldn't just be nuking entire sections of the world especially when he had allies in the start
@@tantarudragos Nothing says he didn't defeat the aliens to be fair. The only "proof" we have that the machines destroyed the aliens is a single line from Adam and Eve who were probably lying anyway. They're memories are born from the AI after all, just like all machines, and they could be subjugated at any moment in time. Sure, their actions were their own, but their memories were the machine network, which could be any assortment of lies or half-truths created by the AI.

Yeah she actually gets to develop as a character over the course of route C, so they gave her lines appreciating pod in the quests and side quests you are going to be doing last. Combined with the slow increase in usage of pod for help, it does a lot to help build her up as a relatable character.
Automata was my introduction to the Nier series and the first time I got this ending I was just man that sucks I liked his character. Now that Nier Replicant v1.2 came out and I finished that and then I heard the same soundtrack being used while fighting Emil in Automata as in Nier Replicant's soundtrack that shit made me choke up a bit, I can't believe he's been fighting this whole time all alone for so long and his best memories were of Kaine and Nier. How long have they been dead, how long has he been fighting.
nier automata take place a few thousand years after nier replicant so poor Emil has been fighting for millennias, that's more than enough time for someone to lose their sanity considering that humans became long extinct
Idk I attempted to play this game in japanese but it just bothered me too much. I never felt emotional on the parts where you were supposed to be sad and I think it was because of the japanese
From what I've seen somewhere in ending C it doesn't matter whether you're 9S or A2, but you need to have completed the Emil's Memories quest and found and upgraded every single weapon to level 4. There maybe more requirements so I'd look it up to be sure.
Yeah i completed both but he just disappeared for like 3 hours and than i had a red symbol on the map and he was there but soooooo late, thats weird because Emil is never too late! xD
DallyLama C and D still makes this ending obtainable since after completing the game you can choose chapters. Ending E will delete your save file so I suggest making a copy before doing it.
@@blahhh6468 thank god I had a second file saved cause I didn’t let the boss self destruct so luckily I just have the other save data to continue the endings which is what I’m doing now lol! I was scared when I read your comment lol

Make sure you have done all of emil's quests, and a bit more: >Flower in Mall in A/B for Emil's memories quest >break in to his house >break in to his house again (must be 9s) and have a boss fight >Have 100% weapons obtained, and all level 4 upgraded Now you should be able to trigger this quest by finding him in the mall. He is sort of bugged each time you use chapter select. Free him by going to Desert: Camp and talking with him a few times. A2 can only find him in the shopping mall after you finish everything above, and are in a specific chapter. (probably 16-02). Talk to him then go to the desert to have the fight. Save before fighting him so you can get [Y] like shown in the video, then leave him for rematches or complete the quest by killing him in the self destruct phase. Completing the quest before failing the fight like the video does will lock you out of getting ending [Y] on your save file.
There is a MASSIVE list of requirements to allow the quest to trigger. Once you have completed that, A2 can only get it in 16-02, after checking Emil isn't stuck on Desert: Camp route (talk with him a few times to fix it).
I love A2s english voice because she is always so pissed off XD she seems to have more character. But for 9S and 2B, i prefer the japanese voices. Cause, u know... Mikasa and Ken Kaneki are my favourite characters from AOT and Tokyo Ghoul
***** stupid as all hell if you ask me Squares famous for Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy and they mostly get happy endings so why is it Drakengard and Nier the ones with the messed up endings not to mention had a fing woman whose both genders what the hell for
Pedro Davalos first you need to be lvl 70. But if you still below 70, go grind in the pit where you fought Naked Adam (Sephiroth). After you reach 70, play as 9S, equip your best weapon (I recommend use Phoenix Blade Lv. 4), go to Disney Land (Amusement Park). Hit the golden statue in the first square. But first clear the area. Keep attacking the statue for about 5 mins, (I recommend to use Blade Pod Program). This is a mini boss. Once the statue awake just keep hacking him.
Vampiresquid007 there is a human here actually, a single one...and it's Emil Though he is not yet dead even after this according to Yoko Taro, the real Emil is still rolling around somewhere, and to completely kill him, you need to kill the original and destroy ALL of his clones, what A2 killed here is just one of the few copies of his clones

I know right? I hate A2 saying dumbass. Japanese don't say anything stupid like that. I only have English one but I need to get Japanese one now. English just ruins everything.
Unlock All weapons and max them all to 4 (through Masamune) and then at some point during the end of the fight I believe you can choose to let Emil be destroyed. Doing that will result in Ending Y. :)
