Thank you. Your video is the only video on RU-vid that showed the full process from installing the stand to lifting it on to a table. Majority of the other videos show the stand installed and instantly cut to the TV set up on a table.

Great unboxing video. Wish I had seen it before I unboxed mine yesterday. The BIGGEST tip here was using the shipping box to attach the base. The instructions said to use a table which I didn't have. So I propped it up with styiofoam pieces that came in the box. Box would have been 100% faster and safer to boot!

Nice job. Your the first revieuwer who uses the white plastic to hold the TV screen at the side. Very safe. Had my cx 65 return for the second time. Tommorow I receive the GX. Little thicker so safer to hold

Just unboxed and assembled the OLED 77inch tv. Your video made it extremely easy. Put the box in front of the tv, lifted it up using the styrofoam side pieces and the cardboard base, and just laid it on the box. Final step slide the box in front of the tv stand so lifting it up onto the tv stand was simple. Thank you again for you video!

Just got one of these. Scary as hell getting the base on and moving it around. It’s so thin it feels like it will break at any moment. Was very relieved to get it on the stand safely. Definitely needs two people. Also this is an amazing TV. Excellent picture, features, and the remote is fantastic. Really loving it.

How did you get it flat off the ground without bending the insides. It's almost impossible due to physics and I really don't want to exaggerate the dirty screen effect.

@@dexteroreo3392 if I remember right, I think I used my foot by the stand to keep it in place and then just tilted the whole box up to support it.

I got mines yesterday,it was pretty scary considering how thin the Tv is,I had to tell my bro not to touch the screen because it could break but luckily everything went well and I easily swapped my Tv on the Tv Stand with bracket that holds it up

I have this OLED too and the best way to set HDR on XBOX is to put darkest at its darkest and set the white patterns right when you clip the black squares. This is because it’s an OLED and not an LED/LCD.

Best buy has a short video on how to set this up, they use the box and styrofoam to support the tv while putting the stand on.

I am moving now and needed to repack the tv back to its box. I did not lay it down, I just unscrewed the screws from the stand and just did lift it to the box.

@@IT-li3ul not mad at all .. the lg c1 will have bugs when it first comes out in around March /April . And it’s price is not gonna be marked down 🤣. I got my 77inch CX for little more than the same price for the 65 inch CX.. and all the problems everyone was having in 2020 with the CX , I don’t have any of those problems .. the back of my tv says manufactured in Oct/2020 . I won the panel lottery across the board and I’ll get a lot of money when I sell it late 2021 early 2022

At 4 minutes 15 seconds you mention it took you some time to find some of the parts, watching other videos, you were supposed to open the top first get the instructions and the parts you were missing, then pull the box up. A pair of kitchen shears works great to open those pesky little bags.

You did great to assemble it. I got my 65" CX a couple of days ago and i was scared when i put it togheter. I wasnt even close to be as careful as you but i got lucky and it come true in the hands of a real idiot. I think the TV is more persistent than you think of it when you see how thin it is.

The base of the TV is 36 inches (or 3 feet) wide. I hope that helps.

PS5 and/or Xbox series X gameplay review would be great with the HDMI 2.1 connection. I like to see 4K/120FPS if possible.

I have not been able to get a next gen console yet. My Xbox One X is working great but it can only do 4K/60FPS.

After cutting the straps, the next step is to open the top and remove all the smaller items, screws, remote etc.

I believe it does, but I don't use it. I just looked under settings > sound > HDMI ARC and the help text mentions that SIMPLINK will be turned on automatically if that option is selected.

I did this with my Girl today and it was pure Horror. We werent prepared to go through hell and in my opinion thats simply wrong ie. the first experience made with this TV was so awful. Well, I love it though - Great device!

Hi My Friend :) I'm cleaning my CX by microfibre with total care. I have 0 scratches in normal light. But under lightbulb from my phone i can see hundreds of them. Some tiny hairline scratches (on glassy antireflective surface on screen) I know its ocd thing - but can You check Yours ? :p

I got my 77” CX on 12/4. I set it up on the base like your’s. Does your tv sit straight up vertical, or does it tilt back an inch or two? Mine leans back about 1.5 inches.

I just set my 77inch up brand new Friday before last I can confirm mines don’t tilt. I’ve taken a picture with my iPhone, and I’ve looked each night at the side of the tv before going to bed .. and mines is sitting on the stand it comes with also . I’m sure it is normal , I just wanted to add mines sit straight up .

I didn't change any calibration on the TV during this initial setup. For my xbox, it auto switches to game mode and looks great. I did go through the HDR calibration for that. When watching movies (either streaming through app on TV or a 4K disc through the xbox), I change the picture mode to whichever looks best. At night, when the room is completely dark, HDR effect or Filmmakers mode look amazing.

I think it would be difficult and risky to do this on your own especially when you need to lay it down gently on the screen and when picking it up to put it on the stand.

I just returned this tv. The colors are too dull and the brightness was disappointing. After unboxing it, I immediately did not like how setting it up felt. This thing weighs A LOT.

I could have missed something on the box on how to open it since I was pretty excited to get it out. Another user commented that we should have opened the top first, but then I think the box would not have been as sturdy to lay the TV down on.
