@@Windermed There's a lot of variants of this track with different solos in different locations in the game. Funny you mention this. Just the other day a friend and I were digging through the PS2 disc files and messing with the samples in Audacity. We managed to recover the compressed version of Fierce/Forced battle theme. You can find the video if you search Fierce Battle compressed lol. It took a long time because there were over 2000 files lol. Forgot to mention that the hundreds of files containing this song made it so hard for us to find the fierce battle theme lmao.

Yeha i got SMT IV just a few days ago and man, the beginning was a bit tough. But once you get to the Unclean One’s country it gets a lot better... minus the shitty map that makes it hard to navigate.

Yeah sure, it's badass how the normal battle theme plays when Demi-Fiend goes up against the Embryon and DDS; they're just a random encounter to him! Then you remember just how dangerous random encounters in Nocturne are.
@@smilingman4299 Unless you get Masakados, random encounters will never not have a chance to totally fuck you over. All it takes is an ambush and a concentrated effort of all the 3-6 enemies to take down your pretty boi Demi-Fiend and it's ogre. Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
@@thomaspearce9222 plus, pokemon doesnt have a secret boss that's intentionally made to torture you (elizabeth, reaper from persona. demi fiend, and pretty much most early bosses of SMT4)

I was just playing this when playing Nocturne. Suddenly, I was ambushed in Asakusa and when an Orthrus went for War Cry, it froze mid animation. 10/10 ost
Demi-Fiend seeing you as a random encounter is basically the "did you know that Mario bros 2 is actually doki doki panic in japan?" of the megaten fanbase

@@viniciuslemos6801 Yeah i agree. I have played it for a while now. It is still Nocturne though and Nocturne will always be amazing, but they could have done so much more with the remaster it is genuinely dissapointing.

It would be cool if all your A attacks were demi fiend normal attacks, and every B summons a demon to attack. like summoning a jack frost to bufu or hee-punch the enemy
Not particularly recommended for ones' first game. Unless you really like getting your butt kicked. Anywho, remember: buffs and debuffs are your best friends, make sure your team resist elemental moves that shall be used and pray that RNGJesus is on your side.

The first time i heard this song and Fierce Battle i was like: WTF is this dog barking? But now both songs kinda grew on me (just like my friend told me when he showed me the vidos) because they really fit the setting
