Omega-3 and Exercise for Brain Health

Continuing with our series about brain health and lifestyle choices, today we will discuss omega-3 fish oil and exercise. Omega-3 fish oil or omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n3-PUFA) have a rich presence in our brain tissue. n3-PUFA helps keep astrocyte from becoming activated. Hence, it reduces inflammation in the brain and also keeps aquaporin 4 (AQP4) channels polarized and on the foot processes of the astrocytes. The result is a better glymphatic flow, which washes away more beta amyloids and helps protect or stall the progress of dementia. Let's review.

I use the jets of a hot tub soak every morning to massage my muscles, thinking that the lymph may benefit by better mechanical flow pressures. Plus, 45 minutes in 104 degree F. water might just help help induce a bit of heat-shock protein to stimulate a bit more autophagy.

I am 69. I am not as sharp mentally as I was in my early 50's. I find it very annoying as I have always had an amazingly good memory. I work full time and my job requires constant attention to detail. I can perform my duties without too much trouble but I am aware of small errors that creep in and I can't help but become a little annoyed at my shortcomings. I have exercised continuously for 45 years. For the last year I have added 4500 mg of fish oil daily and very recently I have begun taking 45mg methylene blue per day. I also take NMN, vitamin B, vitamin D 5000iu, vitamin K2, magnesium, zinc, glynac, brahmi and gingko biloba daily. Is some mental decline unavoidable?

Dr Mo Been I did that three day 72 hr Sardine therapy and totally lost my appetite. If you are obese or diabetic and want to drop your insulin you might try it. It is scary feeling meal time rolls in and no appetite. I Fast 72hrs frequently and definitely feel hunger especially first 36 hrs. I was thinking try it for a lead into a Water Fast.

Hello Dr Been, I have been reading a bit about BC007 from Berlin Cures. It is said to be a potential cure in relation to long covid and appears to neutralize autoantibodies and restore normal blood micro circulation. Was hoping you may be able to review and or provide your thoughts on the research in a future video? Further to that do you have any opinions on Vedicinals 9?
