One Tree Hill - Karen blames Dan for Keith's death 

She acted the HELL out of this scene!

She always acted the hell out of each and every one of her scenes. She doesn't get enough credit as an actress. This scene alone and the scene with her and Dan when he was in jail still gives me chills.

"you killed him" lol he got scared when she said that.

"While Keith was lying there... dying... where were you?" The way Moira's voice and face breaks at "Where were you?" breaks my heart. She's amazing. This scene is amazing. I miss OTH.

Moria was great in this scene. She's great in a lot of others too, but her acting after Keith's death was top notch.

i liked what Karen said to Dan. being a father is more important than being mayor. Karen had every right to fear for her son’s safety

This is easily one of the BEST OTH moments ever. She has SUCH passion and emotion in her acting. 'WHAT ABOUT YOU'RE RESPONSIBILITY AS A FATHER?!' She's such an amazing actress.

This makes me tear up. Outstanding performance by Moira Kelly. She did it so well. It brings tears to my eyes, honestly. When she's mad, the whole world is mad. She has such hospitality, and then Dan Scott. I miss Keith.

I like that Karen mentions his 2 sons not just hers. I like the brief instances that show Karen cares about Nathan.

Incredible scene, one of the best in the series.

This speech while accurate shows he was never a father. With both his sons. He never cared about them unless it had to do with himself. That’s why the rewrite of him as a good grandparent in later seasons was gross as fuck.

i like how the show was about Love and family those things we often take for granted is what makes our heart rich.

this scene would've been even better if she had already known about dan killing Keith and had the proof of what really happened to Keith and jimmy in the school hallway .

Finally I hated hated she did not believe Lucas That and her blaming Lucas for Keith dying her WORST moments!

All the hurt and damage Dan caused his brother. And Keith loved him through it all. That's the saddest part of Dan and Keith's story. Keith honestly loved his brother. And Dan did nothing but hurt him and take from him.

Karen had every right to fear for her son’s safety. She had a right to be angry at Dan for that. Dan shouldn’t be saying to Karen that his mayor position is more important than his children. If something happened to Nathan, his son how can he live with himself knowing that if something dangerous happens to your child I would be scared for my child’s safety. Karen was so angry at him in this scene, her son could have died, no parent should go through that pain of losing a child.

I cry on this scene every time. MOIRA is phenomenal you feel every bit of the emotions from her anger to her grief

Personally, I feel the adoption papers do the most damage to condemn Dan.

I think that’s the worst part.... the fact that he had 2 kids there & didn’t care if they were safe.

All Her angry scenes are some of the bests scenes in oth.

I met moira and alot of the oth cast February 2020 and they were all the nicest when I took a pic w moira we talked mostly about the lion king . I told her I must be dreaming she pinched me and laughed and said you are not. This truly was a dream come true

She yells at him for abandoning Lucas, but it was all of her fault for not letting him be a part of his life. She sounds unhinged with her hysteria here.

Dan deserved no redemption His killing of his brother was after how many attempts to kill, blackmail his own family? He never gave a shit about anyone but himself he occasionally did something a parent is expected to do 24/7, but that doesn't make him anything close to a human So I found it gross in the end they didn't give a shit about any character and forgave him. I also found the story of Karen "falling" for him post murder problematic but even then it's clear he was just taking advantage of her grief and gave no shit.

Little did she know he actually was the one who pulled the trigger.

If Dan out of spite refused to be like his Father earlier on he would have had a better life and reputation

This just shows how disgusting and despicable Dan is. Great actor, but what a horrible character! He has arterial motives for everything else does and when everyone hates him for the latest despicable thing he does he apologizes and makes it seems as if he wants to change and then goes back to do even more sly horrible things just more sneakily and under the radar, until he gets found out again and has to repeat the cycle and figure out another way to exploit someone and blackmail them to worm his way back into his family’s world!

I know being mayor is important but when you’re a parent the responsibilities change. Being a father is just as important being mayor. Even mayors are parents too. Mayors protect everyone including their own children. In this situation with Karen and Dan he told Karen that being mayor is more important and Karen has a valid point, what about responsibilities as a parent. He has kids in that school shooting. You can’t replace children. I think in my opinion mayors give up their position and give it to someone else who’s more qualified. Priorities change. But being a parent comes first before mayor positions. You need to balance your priorities as a father and mayor. If you or anyone who have kids involved in a scary situation like school shootings you should be there for them and keep them safe as you would do the same for other people. I know that you can’t be in two places at once but I feel strongly about the situation. If I Aaron Baumbach was a parent I will need to make sure my kids are safe and be there for them. As parents would say, children are important, keep them safe and loved.
