he also owned the car dealership and was mayor and somehow (tracking devices on everyone's car) could find any other character anywhere to harass them.
He literally WENT to her house and confronts her but yh he is smart cuz he didn't kill her then the police would find a connection if if Dan kidnapped her and her mum.
Yes true, however when Nate got kidnapped by those Russian guys, Dan was working alongside Julian, Clay and of all people…..Chris Keller. 🙄 Ok, I can understand Julian & Clay coming with him to help their friend, but Chris Keller?! Luke only came back to babysit the kids, they could’ve easily got him to temporarily put his differences aside & work with Dan in order to save his brother. Yes he hates Dan but his brother’s life is at stake. They could’ve brought Peyton back to babysit the kids.
It took a YEAR to get to this. A year. When she finally came to Lucas…. I was like thank god he’s not getting away with it. The scene I was waiting for and CMM just broke my heart with his revelation. Such a good acting moment
I think it's beautifully poetic that the song at the end of this scene is the exact same one as the song that played at the end of the episode when Keith died. In a way it came full circle.
I understand that she is traumatized but she needs to understand where Lucas is coming from. He lost his uncle. Someone that is near and dear to him. But in order to truly get rid of the fear of Dan was to make sure he was behind bars. She has to put herself aside and think of Lucas
OTH is just such a good show. It's not just a casual teenage drama series, but a series with deep content. Shows like OC didn't have scenes like that. You can criticize Chad Michael Murray's acting skills, but damn, he played that scene absolutely perfectly. Even though he actually knew the truth the whole time, he still reacted so shocked. I would have reacted exactly the same way in real life. The song selection in OTH was also phenomenal and was ideal for building up the tension.
Dan Scott left a trail of destruction that didn't end at the characters who stayed on screen. Abby walked out of that door and into a lifetime of trying to recover from that. Telling Lucas the truth may have lifted the burden of being the only person who knew, but she still watched a classmate commit suicide (which had nothing to do with Dan) and then watched Dan murder Keith, that's a lifetime of trauma right there.
i literally just ruined the entire season 3 and 4 for myself lol. that’s what i always do. but i literally can’t stand dan idc what he does in the future if this show i will NEVER like him, he is arrogant, ignorant, he is an absolute megalomaniac. everything needs to go his way and if it dosent he makes sure everyone around him suffered as well. how can someone repeatedly hurt the people he is suppose to care about the most? it needs to be about him, and everyone needs to do what he says when he says it and how he wants it. and god he’s so egotistical what 40 year old man is still obsessed about their highschool basketball days?! like LET IT GOOOO. and the way he treated lucas and lucas’s mother?that’s literally not how you treat ANY person. and i personally don’t know how someone just walks around knowing that a child is there’s and just ignores them and treats them like they are jsut some other person, like there is a reason your son was emancipated from you! he should’ve died when he had that heart attack or in the fire like just imagine if he was a real person in tour life, like i’d literally either end up killing myself or him because no one deserves that much toxicity in their life ESPECIALLY if it’s from just ONE PERSON.
Not just Lucas and Karen but how he treated Nathan, Keith when he was still alive, treated the boys on the basketball team when he was coach, treated the girls (like Haley, Peyton, etc), and others. No matter how much he tries to redeem himself, he never will be able to do so.
@OneTreeHillFan Privacy Room for networks Rachel isn't the reason that Keith died. Dan would have found another way to kill him he just found that as an opportunity..if anyone is blame for Keith's death it's Deb since Dan killed Keith because he thought he tried to burn him
Dan kills Keith because he thought that his brother tried to kill him in the fire at his dealership earlier in the seasons. His wife finally told him that she was the one. After that he was feeling guilty of what he have done.
I like that scene but have you realized yet that in america doors never seemed to be lock up??? I mean in OTH the people just go to every house they like to Thats weird isn't it ?^^
this scene is soo great!! Chad's acting is amazing here =) There's just one thing that made me laugh xD Look at how abby stands when she says she needs to talk to him! xD Maybe i'm being weird, but there's just something weird about her shoulders there or something! ahaha xD
@XxiAmUniquexX I understand your point but i have to disagree. It's true that there was some very empty episodes from S5, but we have to admit that EVERY episodes from season 1 to season 4 are incredible. You couldn't even remove any of them so they were useful and awesome. We have been used to "perfection", so they can't obviously going on like that for ages. I'm sure you know what i'm trying to say :-)) Anyway, i say THANK YOU to Mark Schwahn for everything he brought to me! OTH changed me!
The show shouldn't even be called One Tree Hill anymore. This stuff was actually compelling and worth watching. Now it's just dragging out something which should have ended after Season 6.
@danizi1550 Well sorry thats the way I feel, and from the thumbs up it looks like I am not the only one who feels the shows has went down hill compared to its earlier seasons.
@Ashleypalmer1991 I know and I understand that. but OTH has the best fans and crew anyone would ever want and I am a really big fan of the show and I dont get how people can just say such bad things about it. and seeing for the years and seasons it lasted, a lot of people think like me.
@allstar16789 i agree. sure he shot keith in cold blod, but he feels remorse after he finds out who tried to kill him. he tries to make things right so he could be at peace e.g. fixing lucas' crib, caring for karen helping both nathan and lucas including haley but he just gets things thrown back in his face
dan shot keith because he thought keith tried to kill him in the Dan Scott motors dealership, that's why when deb tells him she tried to kill him, u notice he goes to keith's grave and cries cause it was a mistake.
